Sought & Found: Did you visit J.Crew this {past} Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopped by a J.Crew store this past weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SPRING sale, or to see some new SUMMER arrivals {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store was/ is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

  4. I was able to buy the remi ribbon sandals in two sizes this weekend, but I ended up getting wait listed for both. I was wondering, what are your experiences with the wait list? Do they usually end up fulfilling the orders or is it more likely that they will get cancelled? Just looking for any insight...thanks!!

    1. JenR - I had waistlisted Lillian mirror metallics with a date of July 8. I ordered them in mid-April and they shipped mid-May. They'd been waitlisted for July 8. Some ship early, some ship right on the date, some JCAs have experienced cancellations. I like the look of the Remis. Good luck :)

  5. visited our Crewlet. staff befuddled. Woman wanted to pay with a gift card. Apparently they have to swipe the gift card to see how much is left on it. It wasn't reading, so SA keyed in the card number. No luck. After 4 phone calls, she - and everyone on that line to pay - learned that: the gift card was indeed the customer's, there could be money left on it, the computer that tells how much is left was "down" and therefore an "approval code" could not be issued, and there is only one such computer in the entire JC system (????) and the person on the other end of the call thought the problem was in the hard drive. Oh dear. World domination may have to wait a few minutes longer.
