I have the Ryder short leather buckle boots in black. What would you pair with them? Looking for some new ideas!

The first thing that I would suggest is skinny jeans, or pants, so you can tuck them in. Preferably in black or dark indigo so it elongates the leg. Or really straight jeans that fit over. I think you can also wear them with short skirts and black opaque tights.
ReplyDeleteI second the skirt/tights idea. I have motorcycle style ankle boots by Vince Camuto that are a bit dressier than these J Crew ones and I've worn them a lot through the winter with tights and a short skirt or dress. You could also try a loose top and minnie pants for a more springlike look than tights.

DeleteBlue and green look really fresh. as in the Green jackie cardigan in seaglass You could also jazz it up with a coral or soft rose cardigan. And a necklace with similar colors.
DeleteOr you could do a cardigan in the same color as the dress and accessorize with a colored, bigger, necklace. Or a simpler necklace and colored shoes...or metallic shoes. :)
Review of the "darling" cashmere sweater, neon tweed skirt and capris in silk foulard. Plus, does anything go with the indigo quilted jacket...in What goes with.
ReplyDeleteNot so much a styling question as a question about fit....are there any ladies who are a fan of the Cece leather flats that have any experience with the Classic Leather flats? I love my Cece leather flats and there are a few leather Classic flats out right now in colors I really admire...wondering how the two compare in comfort and style...Thanks in advance!
ReplyDeleteNicole, I have many pairs of the Cece's in leather and suede. I have tried the Classics and found for me they do not work. I am always a size 6, in Ceces but the Classics in that size slip off my feet, so they seem a little bigger. Can't comment on the comfort. I agree about some of the colors of the Classics and wish they fit better. HTH.
DeleteI just returned some classics because the sizes just didn't work - the 9 (my usual size) slipped off the back of my heels, while the 8 1/2 dug into the top of my foot. The size 9 Cece I ordered was completely fine, as are the other 3 or 4 pairs of Ceces in my closet, even after months of wear. I find the Ceces a lot more comfortable overall and will stick to them in the future.
DeleteNicole - I won't get the classic ballet flats. I loved the mirrored ones, but not going to bite. The Ceces are far more comfortable, and probably better for my feet. Ballet flat construction broken down in this post here on JCA.
