Per JCA tradition, this post is to find out what everyone is going to wear. I find it really interesting to see what other Aficionadas and Aficionados plan on wearing (and of course it gives me lots of wonderful ideas for future outfits). :) So for this post, what we are planning to wear on Thanksgiving Day? :)
What are you planning to wear this Thanksgiving Day? Are you planning to go "head to toe" J.Crew or parts J.Crew?
My 2-year old twins are sick with the flu and double ear infections, so I'll be skipping the family festivities with them while the DH and my daughter head to the in-laws for dinner. It'll be probably be Saturday pants and a comfy hoodie for me!
ReplyDeleteOh man... Sorry to hear that... Hope they feel better real soon!
DeleteNot sure what I am going to wear yet....BUT somehow I got the 25% off sweaters added on top of the 25% off $150....YAY!
ReplyDeleteWow. That's a great deal.
DeleteMe too! Scored at midnight when I ordered 3 sweaters. Might have to keep them all now:)
DeleteProbably the Nicky in herringbone with black cords. We'll be in and it'll be toasty inside. It's casual, so no need to worry about footwear and I'll probably have on Fit Flops. lol
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving! :)
Change for me. We're driving tomorrow, not today. :( It'll be the shawl collar striped sweatshirt, Loft jeans and BR ballet flats for Tday.
DeleteHappy Thanksgiving, everyone!
ReplyDeleteLove the "vintage" group shot!
ReplyDeleteNot sure what I'll be wearing yet, but it will likely involve a pair of Saturday pants post-diner.
I'm thankful for the camaraderie of this group, and for Alexis to keeping it classy as always! Have a great Thanksgiving, JCA's.
Hmmm... Maybe one of my classic minis in wool and a cashmere sweater.
ReplyDeleteHope everyone has a wonderful turkey day.
I'm planning to wear my Golden Paisley blouse with a camel skirt and my Madewell Archive boots. Still deciding on my Black Friday garb, but it's always something festive (tartan shirt, snowflake tee, etc)!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving everyone!
Love the group pic, especially those pink pants the model is wearing. (By chance do you know the name of that pant)?
ReplyDeleteI will wear the mustard Lucinda blouse & dark denim jeans, penelope navy & gold shoes.
Love this pic. Fall/Holiday 2005 is right up there with 2007. So much good stuff.
ReplyDeleteNot sure what I'll wear yet, but it will surely involve old school J.Crew.
It's going to be unseasonably warm in Chicago tomorrow so I'm not sure. But I have to pack tonight, so I'm thinking possibly my pencil skirt. Beyond that, I don't know. With two dogs running around I'm not sure dark colors will be a good idea and I don't want to wear jeans...
ReplyDeleteI'm going to wear my black Minnies with a Deletta top from Anthropologie and some Liz Claiborne pointy-toed flats. Comfy (and stretchy for some good eating!) but cute.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving to all the JCAs!
SO funny to see the models "grow up" and move from one catalog to another as their vibe changes. The one in the pink pants is at Garnet Hill now, I think. I will be wearing dark jeans, a navy check perfect shirt, a taupe ruffled cardi from GH, my beloved peach cabochon fan necklace, and some tan knee boots. Will be topping it off with my navy excursion vest when we go for a post-dinner walk (waddle). Also giving thanks for the JC CSR who just found me both colors of cabochon fan bracelet ( yes, I love the design that much) and applied the 25% off. Happy Thanksgiving, all!
ReplyDelete*sigh* now they are telling me they don't have the bracelet after all. :-( Must remind myself there are hungry people out there with actual problems...
DeleteToo funny!
DeleteHappy Thanksgiving to all the JCAs! :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't yet decided what I'm wearing, but the odds are good that I will have at least one J.Crew item on.
Wishing everyone a happy Thanksgiving! Probably wearing J Crew navy Katie sweater and jeans for a casual holiday and unseasonably warm weather.
ReplyDeleteHappy thanksgiving everyone! Still can't decide what to wear, most likely Minnies and a blouse or sweater.
ReplyDeleteAwesome mention in the NYT Alexis!! So cool!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Wearing all old J.Crew: buffalo plaid miniskirt, selvedge chambray shirt, and black cashmere l/s tee.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds cute!
DeleteI was planning on wearing a J crew Tartan shirt that I ordered on 11/14 but it never showed up. J Crew is trying to trace the package but in the meantime it is sold out and I am so disappointed!!
