ReplyDeleteI can recommend this skirt (especially at $36.74!). It has cute buttons at the waist band which you can see if you zoom in, and pockets! It runs larger than J. Crew. I would go down 1 size from your no. 2 pencil skirt size - also consider ordering petite if you need a smaller size, as even the petite skirt is 22".
I also love the dixie lace pencil skirt though it's a delicate skirt. I have this in navy too and it runs much more true to J. Crew sizing.
Also, it doesn't come through online but the colors on this linen sweater are gorgeous. I have the mazarine blue and it's a lovely color (more heathered, less monochromatic than it looks online), but I'm reordering it in a PP because the regular XS is huge. As a non-petite, the sleeves may be too short, but I figure it probably doesn't matter with a style like this.
Definitely check out Joe Fresh - there are some great items there for very good prices. They have done a series of silk shirts (similar to Equipment and JC's Blythe) in very pretty pastels and neons, only $39! I bought a really pretty shift dress in blue & white cotton jacquard, also $39 and excellent quality - I posted a pic on my blog.

ReplyDeleteThey are also offering (have not done a blog post with my picks yet) a 20% off other items not included in the 30% off sale. You can find the items included in that by visiting Boden's homepage.
To add to that, I also have a coupon in my blog's sidebar that will get you 15% off anything not in the above two sales. (The coupon says it is for new customers, but as far as I can tell, anyone can use it, the only thing new customers get is a beach bag in additon to the savings.)
Also, if you do want to get free shipping and returns from either the 30% off sale or 20% off sale, you need to click on the 15% off coupon in my blog's sidebar. Even though it won't take off an additional 15% of the 20% or 30% (bummer, I know), it will allow those items to ship for free.
I just used the coupon last night and it worked exactly as I expected on a few items I picked up for the mothers in my life. :)
