    1. Oddly, the mobile site has one code and the regular site on my phone still shows MUSTHAVE. Hmmm... I wonder if they're still updating the sites.

  4. I am re-affirming my love of "ye olde J. Crew of lore" wool and herringbone blazers and jackets (Lexington, Robert Noble, Oxford, école, Celtic country, Bella) over the less fabulous new crops (I'm looking at you, cheap feeling Schoolboy). The craftsmanship is amazing on these older pieces. They fit beautifully and look more designer than chain store, especially with those beautiful linings and perfect stitches and seams (yes, perfect). I'll be stalking the colors that I do not yet own on eBay.

I should also note that they made the perfect silk cami in the SPR/SUM of '05. It's the perfect cami length, the silk is sumptuous and rich and has beautiful contrast stiching at the neckline. I own every color made and still wear them constantly.

On the new crop front, I ordered the featherweight cashmere short sleeve cardigan and the cashmere is soft and not even slightly itchy (I have sensitive skin). The last cashmere I bought from them, about two years ago, had me sqealing within minutes of putting it on. I don't know yet how well it will hold up. So maybe they're going back to their old quality in their cashmere pieces?

  5. My flair skirt fell apart at the hem. I brought it in to the store and they had their tailor fix it for me. Great job, and no hassle at all.

  6. I'm not sure if I can say that I love a particular store but I do! I love the mission viejo j.crew store in CA. They are friendly and offer the best customer service. I wish the store was bigger and offered the same variety as the store about 20 min away. Let's just say the, "other" store is not friendly, could care less if I'm there but has a larger selection. I wish I lived closer to the Mission store
