Madewell Email: Summer fun: extra 25% off final sale items (+ free shipping)

"Thanks!" to many of you, including Irina, who shared the latest promotion from Madewell this morning.

They are offering 25% off (on sale items) and free shipping (on $100+) with promo code WHYNOT. This offer ends Monday, June 13, 2011. The fine print includes:
*All sales final. No exchanges, no returns on items marked as final sale. Offer valid in Madewell stores and at madewell.com only. Offer does not apply to previous purchases or the purchase of gift cards. 25% off discount applies to sale items only. Free shipping offer applies to orders shipped via ground shipping totaling $100+ after 25% discount and before shipping, handling and taxes are added. Offer valid through Monday, 6/13/2011, 11:59pm ET. Savings are applied at checkout with code WHYNOT. Offer not valid on phone orders. Cannot be combined with any other promotion. Limit one promotional code per order. Details of offer are subject to change.
This is a great promotion for those of you interested in a few of Madewell's sale items. But keep in mind, those are items are FINAL SALE. Let's hope J.Crew does not do the same with their Sale items.

Will you be checking out Madewell? Are there any items you are interested in getting? If so, please share. :)

  1. Boooo, I'm not buying anything final sale no matter the cost. I'm no where near a store so it is a total guessing game and I'm not going to play.

  2. I've said this previously when Madewell ran their ridiculous Final Sale...I find it absolutely absurd for them to make items non-returnable when they only have a limited number of B&M's nationwide. Most of their customers don't have a chance to try anything on, so why would they want to buy something they can't send back if it doesn't fit? So very customer UN-friendly, IMHO!

  3. I'll probably regret this, but I did buy two things: the Tangier blazer and the Pinwheel blouse. The blouse should be OK, I just want a print top to wear under my J Crew cardis, but the blazer might be a disaster. :)

  4. I just want to recommend the Boardwalk Hoodie for anyone interested...I got it in my current post-baby size and love the fit. Its a nice lightweight fleece knit, with a long and lean shape. My husband even complimented me on it (?) and its really cute.

  5. I TOTALLY agree, I am not buying anything Final Sale when there is no way to try it on. I'm not even going to look !

  6. I'm going to learn my lesson the hard way, aren't I. I hope I don't have to turn the Tangier into an expensive (yet stylish) painting coat. :) Actually it's the color I'm a little worried about, it's probably going to look awful on me.

  7. I placed an order, but avoided final sale. I did finally get to visit a b&m for the first time recently, and I have to say, I am now totally in love with this store. But considering the closest store is probably 1000 miles from me (not even exaggerating), I will avoid final sale like the plague. I ordered a tee that was on promo and a pair of shoes I've been drooling over that was selling out in my size, a very rare fp purchase for me. Here's hoping they are worth it. :)

  8. I bit during the last 30% Finale Sale. A scary venture, but everything turned out. Bought 2 dresses, 1 short sleeve cardigan, and the sleeveless Pinwheel blouse, which is a beaut. Still, I don't think I would take a chance again.

  9. Just placed another order, for a Postcard cardigan in olive grove. I had bought this cardigan in a different color earlier this year, it was nice but more casual than I wanted at that time, but now I have a need for a casual cardi and with the 25% off promo even with shipping it was only $28.44, a great price for merino. I was never a fan of olive before but now I'm liking it a lot. I think it will work well heading into fall.
