J.Crew's October Catalog {double check it!}

"Thanks!" to many of you, including Emily & Julie, who let us know that the latest catalog sent may have a unique promotional code (for something like 20% off on any order, free shipping with no minimum, or $20 off a certain amount).

So double-check your catalog to see if you got a unique promo code too! :)

  2. I was pleasantly surprised to receive the 20% coupon in this catalogue after receiving it in September's catalogue. Any insight into how they choose who gets what?

  5. So for some reason I never seem to get the catalog anymore, but occasionally I get a 20% off code over email, for online purchases only though. I agree how random these perks are at times

  7. Can anyone direct me in regard to the bootcut jeans? I am 5'6" tall and 125 pounds. I carry my weight in my stomach, if that helps. Would I likely be a 4 or 6? In shorts and skirts, it varies between those.

  9. OMG, did I already miss the Tretorn sneakers with the ribbon laces on page 36? They are not showing up online, just in girls. Did they already sell out, or have they not yet appeared?

  10. I did receive a catalog (yay!) but no disount code or card. I have to say this is preventing me from making purchases. There's nothing I have to have but would pick up a few items if given the discount.

    I also would like to know where in or on the catalog I should look, should I EVER be so lucky as to receive one with a discount code!

    But I will say I received an email from JC customer service (from an actual person, even!) notifying me that the missing straps for my swimsuit top were mailed out yesterday. YAAAAAAAAAAAY!

  12. Got my catalog yesterday. Nothing extra in it. Just glad I got a catalog without having to call CS or keep ordering one online like the past two months! Yeah!

  13. Hi everyone!

    Just got my catalog and it had a 20% card in it. I was already on the lookout b/c of this post, but didn't need to be. Mine had a little circle in the bottom left corner of the cover that said "a little surprise inside, details on page 43," and on page 43 there was an insert with the card.

    I have NO IDEA how they choose who gets it and who doesn't. I hadn't bought anything online since like, January, and then bought something in late August (from final sale), soooo maybe they are trying to get me back?

    Hope that helps for all y'all looking for where it in in the catalog!

  14. I actually got the 20% through an email with a special code for a one time purchase.

    It makes me mad because in the past Ive received the earrings, the journal, the bag, and 2 year ago the red card.

    Why now, when I have upped my spending at J.Crew too, did I not get a red card?

  15. No red card or discount in the catalog or email for me. I used to spend $1000s annually on J Crew but recently have changed my spending habits...since then, no love from JC. Happy shopping to everyone with the coupons!

  17. I got nada so far. No, 25% off card & I've never received a catalog discount. I think I've spent in the neighborhood of $1200 at jcrew in the last two months, so what gives?

  20. Well I just got my catalog and there's no code. And I did not get a card either. Needless to say, I'm super bummed out. There are a few things that I'm waiting to hopefully get. Guess I'm going to be waiting a while. Blah.

  24. I picked up a catalog in the store on my lunch hour and it had the code in it! It had a circle on the cover as mentioned here! I have never gotten a code from a catalog picked up in B&M!!

  25. Just received a catalog after not receiving one for years...also received the collection catalog, but no coupon love. Also no little red card. FYI, I'm a long-time JCrew customer, and silver cardholder who used to spend thousands but now has trouble spending enough to receive a quarterly reward.


    For the first time in a long while I actually had a couple of things in my cart. Although I just emptied it...no coupon, no love JCrew! I can find similar, items at a lower price elsewhere. JCrew marketing fascinates me...I just can't figure them out...and I'm beginning to believe they can't figure themselves out either.

  26. No Red Card, no 20% off promo in my catalog. BUT I did receive a new Talbots catalog with a cover that says, "Thank you." Inside is a card for "20% off every time you shop in stores, by catalog and at talbots.com," along with free shipping and double points through October 11. Guess where I'm going this weekend?

  27. I havent gotten a catalog to my name yet...but I got one addressed to my fiance who has maybe placed two orders every (both for me) and this catalog had the 20% off card! Weird!
