ReplyDeleteI'm with GingerSnap. Nothing really calling out to me. The sale selection was very disappointing too. I also want to scream at them "It's winter!" We're in the low 50s now and it's chilly - no time for shorts, light tees, etc.
ReplyDeleteLands End has free shipping and 40% off Women's Sweaters for this weekend only. Cashmere (better quality than JC and fab colors) for around $60-70 dollars for some nice basic styles and still great savings on the "fancier" cashmere as well as nice cotton sweaters. The fit is great for me and they now offer 3 fit styles with fit 1 being very close to the body and fit 2 and a fit 3. I will post the free shipping code on retailmenot in the comments section of landsend.
ReplyDeleteHeidi: I had the same issue. I accidentally place 3 orders yesterday instead of the one i needed. Even though I went back and cancelled the 2 (it was still within the 60 min. cancel time frame) they still charged my card for some reason. I actually just got a phone call from customer service saying that they went through and cleared all the duplicate orders. Nice of them to call, I thought!

ReplyDeleteSydneygirl, the Lands' End sweaters are up to 40% off. Unfortunately the cashmere sweaters are only about 10-15% off. I'm hoping they'll offer a better sale price closer to Christmas.
ReplyDeleteThe believe the cashmere sweaters I bought at Land's End just now are more than 10-15% off as someone stated. It just depends on which ones you look at--a few of the basics are a highter % off. The basic Crewnecks are a great price in the 60-70 dollar range.

Yes, I just double checked. There are 3 styles of cashmere sweater that are normally around $90 each and selling for $62. Lots of colors to pick from....

The woman in front of me passed back her coupons that were expiring today. I'd just printed one off the computer, so I gave them to someone just entering as I exited. I've passed on before, but my first time on the receiving end. The JCA spirit of share and share alike is alive and well in the crafting community in Ann Arbor!
