jcma - I read Posey Ford's review and I don't find the same fit for the Charlie on my body shape. I really like the Charlie jacket and will definitely keep mine.
ReplyDeleteI am fairly tall but do not have a long torso like Posey. I need a larger size to fit up top and the length was fine for me, it was not cropped, but it is not a blazer, it is a shorter-styled jacket. It is a bit loose around the waist although not enough to need tailoring. The fabric is very nice, it is almost a picot weave. It is a lighter weight, which is great for spring. I also like that the cuffs can be worn up or down, they are styled like the Maggie jacket if you have seen that IRL. The silk fabric under the collar and the brass buttons are nice touches as well. IMO this is a very well-styled jacket made of quality materials.
I am still DESPERATELY seeking the short sleeved long cardi, 10510, size medium in NAVY.
