Last but not least, the
Corduroy Academy Jacket Item 77891, size Medium in color as shown in link. Washed and never worn. This is from Holiday 2006. Sleeves are lined, body is not. You can button collar, and look closely under collar, it's contrasting wool material. Great jacket only I also have it in navy and have only worn the navy jacket. I paid $50.00 for this jacket. Happy to see it go for $29.00, including shipping.
Note: the jacket looks great with the Frankie Pop-on Plaid skirt.

And if you look at those who are selling FS items, they aren't really making a killing. Some of them are taking a price cut....so lets find something else to stew over, not why people are selling NWT items for reasonable prices.
Desert Flower -- The Orland Park, Ill., store is terrific! I'm not surprised that they had the tee; I saw some there a week or so ago. Anyway, besides the fact that the nicest people work there, they often have things that I can't find at the bigger Oakbrook, Ill., store. Addiionally, the CS folks have told me that their sale section does really well, so they sometimes get extra shipments of stuff that is on sale. And the best part is (as I keep saying) they have the nicest, cutest people working there -- just wish Brent hadn't left! But if you ever want something, you should call there.

ReplyDeleteI have the Madeline coat with Thinsulate in 4 regular, Heather Majestic Purple (sort of deep bright blue more than purple, my opinion) and it's been worn only a few times as well as the Lady Day Coat with Thinsulate in Sea Salt (off white) in 4 regular (never worn, but came with a small makeup stain on the shoulder that I think I can remove). Any way, I'm interested in making a trade to the Lady Day or Madeline coat in size 2 as the 4 is a little big on me. Tulip coat in size 2 (or 4 if it runs small) would be great too.
For the Lady Day and Madeline, I prefer the brighter colors (Berry, HMP, etc.). For the Tulip coat, I'm open to all colors. Or other coats if you send me a picture.

No, hence FINAL sale. you cannot return it. I see no problem with buying things at a great price you think you might want, and if they dont fit or you dont like them IRL, selling them for what you paid for on the blog. I kind of thought that was the purpose of this weekly exchange?
ReplyDeleteSome of the NWT clothes may come from one of two JCrew clearance stores, one in Lynchburg VA and the other in Asheville NC. These items have a black line through the label and are not first quality and may be soiled. (This according to an email from CS). I see these listed on ebay. If you are interested in an item through the exchange you might inquire if it has a mark through the label.

Tina, I was just curious, not intending to be critical of people. I'm fairly new to this blog and J.Crew so don't know all the ins and outs that obviously some others seem to know, like style names from years past (wow, what a memory). I think it's great that people are helping each other out and I see many posting that they would just like to get what they paid. Obviously they are not in it to make money.

ReplyDeleteWith that said, someone asked if you have 60 days to return non-FS items. You do. Many of us state, if no one wants any of the items by (fill in the day), they are going back to the store. I like to give other JCA's the heads up on a non-FS item that might be in high demand, before I return it...Like the MINT dazzling dots skirt that sold out immediately...I have my receipt and can return it, but trying to give any JCA's an op to buy it as it is now sold out. Hope I explained myself well enough :)

Here is the story with the flats. I adore them, but cannot wear them.Bought them at fairly high price ( $129 minus some discount off),honestly tried to wear them on several occasions , you can see me in them in various outfit tries on my blog,howeer, never ventured in them outside since I cannot wear them for more then 15 minutes ( too tight and round toe is killing me). As a result, they have very light scuff marks on the soles from indoor try-outs, but pristine otherwise. Willing to trade for comparabe heels ( not Lulus, have them in all colors except cloud).:)
