Seek & Find: Will you visit J.Crew this Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopping by a J.Crew store this weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

P.S. I noticed that many of you have already been reporting sale items (and in which stores) in other posts which by the way "thank you!" :) I really appreciate how helpful we are for each other!

  1. The Honeycomb cashmere rollneck™ sweater (Item AU217) is now $199.50 on the site. But I believe someone mentioned it was cheaper in store with the cashmere sales. Does anyone know if that's still true?

    1. Yup I called the store in Brooklyn and they confirmed it’s now $129.50.

  2. The 15% off code doesn’t work on the marked down cashmere. Any idea what the online promo will be after 12/25?

    1. Yes, noticed that the 15% wasn't working with cashmere, boo. That stopped me from buying, I'll wait to see if prices improve. In previous years I remember buying right around the New Year because they'd have 60% (more?) off sale. Hopefully they will start including cashmere. At least the less popular colors.

    2. Thank you Lynn and happy holidays JCAs!

I wore my tie waist navy wool pants this AM with a beige cable knit oversize merino sweater. I had the pants hemmed to a cropped length and changed the white string at the waist for a navy blue grosgrain ribbon. Much better, I hated that white string!

    3. julielion 96, thank you. Bet you looked very pretty. I remember some time ago when some of us purchased the pants and were deciding what to do with that crazy piece of white string. Great what you did with it and the navy was a great choice.

    4. Merry Xmas ladies and gents! Our family wore Christmas pajamas as our dress code to the gathering this year, so I wore my JC stewart tartan pajamas from this year and my mom wore mine from two years ago. The tartan is very similar but slightly different, so everyone thought we had on matching pajamas. Funny Christmas photos this year! But mostly I’m just glad that we were able to gather and celebrate after not being able to last year. We had a loss in the family in 2020 like so many others and really needed some happier family memories.

    5. Julielion96, that sounds nice! I’m sure the pants look much better like that.

    6. Julielion96, very smart! I have only worn mine once and agree the cheap drawstring is cumbersome and cheapens the look. Grosgrain was smart.

  4. I admit I was feeling a bit down and I inspired when I got dressed yesterday. I ended up just putting on a white button down under a black cashmere turtleneck with a gray celestial bandana from madewell s twisted tightly so it was visible. Favorite wide leg jeans, black Stella’s with sparkly stars, my dalton plaid top coat with a snakeskin camera bag. I replaced the strap with a Gucci inspired red and green striped strap, perfect for Christmas. And earrings from crew that are a few years old. I never wore them. They almost look like a little crystal disco ball dangle with a bigger rhinestone post. They came in a few colors.
Anyway just that little bit of festive helped to change my mood, it was perfectly appropriate for our laid back/melllow Christmas Eve with just closest family and We ended up having a wonderful night.
No matter what this year’s plans look like i hope everyone finds a way to feel good. Xoxo

  6. I’d like to try the Space-dyed relaxed cardigan sweater, Item BB430, but there’s no way I’m paying that much for a finale sale sweater. Plus, the sizing looks tricky.

    1. ooo, that does have pretty colors. Agree $75 is crazy for a final sale item. It doesn't bode well that acrylic and poly are the 1st two "ingredients" in the blend.

  7. I’m not really feeling sale yet. 50 off and extra 20 is not as good as 60 and 15 which is what it was last weekend if you used the online code, and at least you would have had festive stuff for NYE.
I’m hoping they do a 60 off sale with the extra 20.

    1. yep, I'm waiting. 50 + extra 20 isn't that great for a lot of this stuff and many things still excluded. Banana Republic got my business this AM with 60% off sale and not final sale. Free returns too!

    2. I haven’t seen much at banana I’ve wanted to try, although the double breasted blazer with the gold buttons is really nice. My sister got it for my mom but I don’t think it’s on sale.

I’d buy the relaxed topcoat from Crew in the mint or pink…but I might try to buy in store. My coats have been my best purchases and most worn.

    3. I had luck with Banana and the Gap this season - bought a charming pair of red pants, some pretty sweaters, and from the GAP - fabulous denim.

  8. Well, my store came through for me today. I tried calling to put the mint coat on hold until tomorrow, not wanting to deal with crowds the day after Christmas, but when they finally answered they said it was busy.
An hour or so later I went and there Were clients but no where near typical day after Christmas crowds of the past.
They had a few mint coats left and ONE sequin turtleneck that must have been a return. I was able to use a postcard, a store credit and with all the discounts paid a great price.
Meanwhile the star shirt was only 25 percent off, though they would have matched online…it wasn’t a need for me.
Sale was 60 off but nothing exciting.

  9. I scored the mint coat in store for $70. Great buy!
