Seek & Find: Will you visit J.Crew this Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopping by a J.Crew store this weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

P.S. I noticed that many of you have already been reporting sale items (and in which stores) in other posts which by the way "thank you!" :) I really appreciate how helpful we are for each other!

    1. I noticed that previously. How do they expect to sell anything?!
The wide leg waffle pants look equally horrible.
Most of the pant pics are Poorly styled and unattractive.

On a side note I have birthday rewards from Madewell and crew and don’t have anything I really want. With sale at 20 off I might end up just waiting until after Christmas.

    2. I agree. I won’t buy anything with theese prices! I have gift cards from my birthday and I am holding.
I did pick up a canceled item, Academy loafer for $16, which cancelled in summer and they already shipped.
I did get my jeans bow shirt! Came from store. Very wrinkled. I had no energy to try yesterday but it seems big. Keep you all posted!

    3. They are doing it for men too, see AT398. You get the frontal view plus a side shot with the zipper coming down.

    4. I think the women’s is much worse.

  2. Got my catalog - yippee! I was surprised to see it so oversized. Maybe 50/50 styled shots versus product photos/montages. Mine has $50 off $150. I’ll try to use it to pickup some items that are continually excluded.
Agree on some of the online product shots. Maybe the majority of consumers don’t notice as the pants pbanos referenced are almost sold out 🤷🏻‍♀️. Must be a JCA thing...

    2. I got a catalog too with the $50 off $150. I was surprised. I haven't bought a lot this year. I placed my first order since May in October and got a few things so maybe they thought they could lure me back. Catalog has nothing new and repeats the holiday images from the website, which I liked. Hopefully more of you will get one.

  3. Totally OT but a vent and maybe this will help someone.
To make a long story shirt I ordered leather joggers from a poshmark seller. I should have hesitated when she had difficulty answering questions about inseam and other measurements.
Anyway I forged ahead and got the garment which is not like new as she said and also she said the inseam was approx 28 but it’s 26”. To me approx 28 is close to 28, not two Inches less. Seller doesn’t see what the difference these two inches would make which I just can’t even comprehend. The two inches means the pants hit my calf, not my ankle.
It was not cheap and I opened a case to return them which poshmark has not responded to yet.

Anyway I sell a lot and really try to be accurate with descriptions and measurements. I hope poshmark allows me to return the pants. I didn’t intend to wear them with boots.

    1. And I do try to give sellers the benefit of the doubt. I once got a pair of shoes that was so poorly packed they got crushed In transit but I still gave the seller
A 5 star rating, just let Her know in a comment that she should have packaged them better.
But this was just so disappointing.

    2. They'll let you return. I had a similar problem with a blazer once where the seller misrepresented the measurements after I asked for them. I sent a photo with measuring tape.

    3. Yes I just sent more pics with the full tape measure showing. Not even 26” length. Grrrr.

    4. I get so frustrated with Poshmark and eBay sellers who don't list measurements and then the buyer has to ask for them. Yes, I know it's a slight hassle to measure an item but if you are selling clothing then flat measurements are pretty much an essential. Telling me the size on the tag means nothing. Recently I've just started completely skipping over any listing that doesn't bother to include measurements. Or them telling you a measurement that was off by 2" is even more annoying. I also skip over sellers who only show a stock photo of the item and not the Actual Item you are buying. Sometimes colors are way different. I have many more frustrations with Poshmark but that's one of my biggest, the people who won't put the measurements in the listing!

    5. I do try to add measurements to my listings, if not immediately then once I get them up in the comments if there’s no room in the description. I have half a dozen tape measures lying around so I never can’t find one.

    6. @SuzHas, I’m sorry that happened to you, very frustrating. I hope it doesn’t take long to get your money back.

    7. Thank you. Still no resolution which surprises me.

    8. After much back and forth and seller still saying 26” IS approximately 28” poshmark approved the return.

    9. Thank goodness they approved it, that’s crazy!

  5. JCrew sent my loyalty gift to my sister in law. She calls yesterday and says... did you send me anything
Package had my name and her adress. She live in Atlanta and I live in NY. Lol. It’s a sleep mask and 2 little notebooks. I did a chat. Show them pic. They refuse to replace, make it right or even escalate this issue to leadership. They apologized and not sure how it happened. Another major fail. I did email leadership support. But honestly they could of made this right much easier by offering me a discount on next purchase.

    1. That’s weird. Have you sent jcrew stuff to her?

    2. I sent her stuff once. In October when they had that bug sale. I usually only send her a big gift on July for her birthday! But I collect stuff and mail myself! I do send to my moms more often and almost regularly and my mom lives in NY too. I have no clue. But I see this as a fail on their behalf. I don’t care about the gift itself and my sister did get it( so it stayed on the family). But just odd. She thought I sent her something. But it’s was weird. Said my name and her adress. Lol....
