J.Crew Reviews {straight from the JCAs!}

This is the weekly "J.Crew Reviews {straight from the JCAs}" post, to help each other share our reviews.

So if you have recently purchased, or stopped by a J.Crew store to try on an item (or two) from J.Crew, maybe you might be willing to share that information with us in this post.

Also, this request is not just limited to clothes. Please feel free to discuss bags, shoes, jewelry, accessories, etc.

In particular, if you could mention a few of the noteworthy details like fit, size, fabric, and the like— that would be fantastic! Thanks in advance! :)

  1. I received my orders from last Sunday/Monday which were mostly bathing suits for my girls for an upcoming trip. One suit I bought four of thinking it might be fun (and really cheesy) for all of us to wear it. Of course that’s the one where instead of the top I received a random button down shirt. The bikini bottom is final sale.
    I already reached out to CS to see if they will accept the bottom back since it’s useless without the top, maybe they have a random top hiding in the warehouse and they’ll offer to send that but most likely it won’t get here in time. Oh well.

    1. I also received TROUSER SHORT IN LEOPARD-PRINT LINEN TENCEL™
      Item L1541
      Color: AMBER BLACK
      I like the fit of this. I don’t see black in the color but more of a dark brown, but I think it works fine with a black or chambray shirt. However, the item had no tags.

      Where is QC?

    3. 😂 quality control.

      Funny thing is my daughter was born in QC while we were on a weekend getaway and I didn’t even make the connection. 😂

    4. Well there may be some places where the bikini top is not an issue...I'm sure they will take it back, as bottoms alone are useless for the majority of us.

    5. Hahaha, very true. For me it’s an issue. A little issue but an issue. 😆

      They will credit me for both Which was very nice.

  2. I wore the Wide-leg jean in indigo plaid
    Item AB421 that I ordered with a 60% + 15% off sale. On me these are a longer cropped length, good to wear with the red patent cap--toe boots. I also wore a red tshirt and navy wool blazer. Lots of compliments - it was a bright combination. The denim is a lighter weight, the wash is dark except for the windopane stripe, and there are no scoop or patch front pockets so they do not look like jeans. I was able to wear these as business casual on a regular weekday. With my chunky legs wide leg pants are the best thing ever.

    1. How cute. How did I never notice those? I think I just thought they were navy twill. Sounds like a nice look.
