  1. Can't thank my VPS enough for having gone out of her way to ship items to me and making it possible to return final sale items. Order a few Tanti Baci Tees, they're very soft, cute and somewhat thin but for 50% off at the time they were a good deal. Fit is TTS. Snakeskin sling backs are cute, but there is no buckle, my narrow heel was slipping and the material by the heel strap in the back is very rough. Too bad because it is a pretty print. The 365 wide leg cropped pants in the Heather Lavender color is pretty but were very large on me and seem cheap. Sent back. Received the Collection Blythe Floral Print blouse. Sizing is great, fabric is very nice but the print is person is overpowering on me for some reason. My husband said it looked like an old lady's print. I was hoping it would have been close to an old Jcrew Ratti print. In fact when I first viewed it online I thought perhaps it was.I love the quilted Reversible Liberty Print Jacket in the Black/Multi print. Colors are very pretty and am able to wear it in Fl. Compliments received and for $33.00 a winner. Vintage yellow tee arriving today. I love that they brought back the "Old Yellow". Wait and see. Also per-ordererd the Old Yellow in the cashmere tee. Haven't been happy with these tees,(quality is terrible and they don't even feel like cashmere) as I have previously posted, but again this is the new OLD Yellow and I will give it a try because of the color. The newer cashmere tees appear a little lighter in weight when viewing online but who knows. Pre-ordered the Jackie Tanti Baci Jackie to gift but cancelled it due to poor reviews about the embroidered cardigan.Received one of those that was stretched out and awaiting another If anyone has received one please post if you like or dislike it. A little too busy looking but might be much nicer looking in person. Wish they would have brought back the Kisses Tee and produced a sweater. Now that is so cute!! I posted elsewhere here about Nordstrom Rack's listings of Valentine's Day items. Some are very cute looking. Have a nice day everyone and keep warm and safe wherever you are. I have been up all night working here so again apologies for the typos. Next mini launch is the 4th,not expecting much. The larger launch is approximately the 19th. Keeping fingers crossed on this one. You can always type in on Google search Jcrew Early access rewards to see when they've released the new launch items. Typing preorder in the search bar on Jcrew's site may or may not work. Have a nice day everyone and keep warm and safe wherever you are.

  2. @lynn sorry to hear that the snakeskin slingbacks didn’t work for you. Would you say they run TTS?

  3. @fleurdelys, for me yes, I wear a medium/narrow width with a narrow heel. My concern is if someone has a fuller foot the cut of this shoe appears a little more narrow such as the pink tweed one where people had complained it was too small.I'm sorry I can't be of more help to you. I am also tempted to advise trying two pair to be on the safe side.

  4. Got the Cap-sleeve dress in printed matelassรฉ
Dress for $27.20, Item J7992, Color: NAVY MULTI
Size: 2. It’s perfect. Fits TTS. Very elegant and nice fabric. It’s a winner! Especially for the price.

  5. Have y’all seen or tried the colorful snakeskin boots at Madewell? They look like a fun relative of the sling backs.

  6. Received a batch of sale orders yesterday.

One piece stripe tie back swimsuit. Fit is tts and it matches the holiday stripe shirtdress perfectly. The two are shown together in the model pic. Will wear as shown, but also planning to add a pair of shorts or white denim as an option.

Liberty melody floral silk pj top. Fit is tts. Print is very pretty and silk is lightweight. Will work well for warmer temps. Happy to finally receive it after the wrong item was sent previously.

Salut tee. Fit is tts. I know it’s a white tee, but it’s more sheer than I expected based on photo. Will wear a nude bra and it will be fine. Planning to wear with denim and Liberty cotton skirt in Betsy Ann floral. Skirt runs big, but I’m planning to wear a belt to give some definition to the waist.

Jackie sequin cardigan in olive. Ordered one size up since that’s what was available. I like the color and it’s a little big, but not an issue. It matches tulle skirt from last year.

Still waiting on a handful of final packages from the sale and them I’m done.

  7. J.Crew served me well on our recent trip to the DR. I ordered and returned several summer dresses from my Rent the Runway and ended up only bringing one item from RTR and multiple J.Crew items from the recent sale and past purchases. My clearance sale winners were the black ruffle eyelet dress and the navy midi slip dress, both of which I paid around $20 for. I wore each of those to dinner, as well as my linen tie waist jumpsuit from last year. Other favorites included the cotton striped midi dress as well as the coverup in the floral print from this past fall season (the pleated skirt/blouse/pant print) and black beaded chandelier earrings that I can't recall the name of. I did not reach for any of my Crew bathing suits though and I think I need to admit that aside from the ruched bandeau suit, they really don't do my chest any favors and I can't properly fit in the tops. My most worn swimsuits were purchased at my local specialty undergarment shop - a Prima Donna two-piece and a Shan underwire one-piece.

  8. JCAs Here is a typical Suz story.
My Gap shaker t-neck is one of my favorite sweaters this season. It's all cotton, soft and slouchy. The only negative is that it's red which I love but wear less than black. I decided to get the ivory. Since I have a few ivory print sweaters, I decided to sell the Northfield mockneck in ivory on Poshmark. I've only worn it a few times but I know from the black that it will get pilled and I'd rather have lower maintenance clothes, like cotton.
Today, I get the gap sweater. I stuck it in my closet figuring I'll try it on later.
Awhile ago, my Madewell sweater sold on Poshmark. I thought. Great, now I'll just put the new ivory sweater in the old ones place.
I take the Gap sweater out and it's significantly (like two inches in width and four in length) smaller than the red, it's stiff, not soft, has some dirt smudges on it. I swear it feels like it was washed and dried.
I just printed the return label! ๐Ÿ˜‚ I'm also printing my Poshmark shipping label. ๐Ÿ˜‚
    Figures.

    1. Oh no. How did you not notice this while hanging it in the closet? More importantly, does Gap still have it?
Actually, since I know you, more importantly- does the merino sweater from everlasting come in ivory? ๐Ÿ˜

    2. I kept it folded and put it on the shelf before I even looked, so it was not really noticeable. Gap has it in the size up, but Everlane has a crewneck in ivory I'm considering, or in black, since I don't have chunky crewnecks and I much prefer chunky sweaters and don't always want a turtleneck or mockneck. I'm just holding off because of the recent extensive purchases! I kind of liked the idea of an ivory sweater with my white jeans but doing black with white is really more me.

    2. Me three. I have the pants too. Think that they would work together with a chambray jacket?
I like it with ivory as well, gives you a springtime feeling.

  10. I also got the ivy shale blouse, in size 4. The shoulders are OK - not pulling but not totally comfortable. Everywhere else is loose. I tried it with the matching pants and I lovvvvvved the look.

I got the SZ blue pants and matching one piece. The one piece is too big; I expected that because I guessed my size. The pants worn with the matching top is total pajama vibe. I cannot handle - I’m short so the pants aren’t cropped on but they’re super wide and I just look like i wandered out of bed sloppy.

Silk ruffle top in midnight floral Ratti (G8403) - it might be one giant ruffle too much for me. Initially it did spark joy when I put it on, but possibly because I tried on the orange Drake pajama top just before and I hated it. Drake is going back, will think upon the Ratti. Not sure how to style.

And now for the piece de resistance of today’s arrivals... my comrade pants popback in size 6. It arrived as... a black Italian double-cloth wool lady day coat (49622) in size 4. Incredible. I joked they would show up as puppy socks or shorts but never expected a COAT. It doesn’t have tags but is totally new, the plastic bag clearly says comrade pants. A magical mystery that happens to be my coat size. I am totally keeping it - a $300 coat for $10! Popback mystery win!

    1. OH MY GOD. you really can't make this up! That's CRAZY. WHAT A SCORE.
I have one lady day coat in, BRIGHT CERISE. the 4 runs a little small so I wear it more dressy but it's not my favorite red against my skin. Still the shape is so flattering and I always get compliments on it.
Funny story (I always seem to have funny clothes related stories). I had a vintage dress form I got from a yard sale for like $5. It was all warped but I just thought it was so cool. For awhile I tried to sell it but I kept it as decor. When we sold our house our realtors suggested we use a specific stager just to switch things up. As a designer I decided it would be ok to give up control and let them do their thing. The only thing I insisted was that they not buy generic artwork. I wanted them to use my stuff. After about six hours or so they let me back in the house. It was magical, I couldn't believe how different my space looked. To make a really, really long story less long, I go into one of the bedrooms and there's the dressform, standing next to a little dresser, wearing my bright cerise lady day coat and a matching scarf. Some of the artwork in the room had the same bright red and they wanted to draw the eye around the room. I just about died. It was brilliant. ๐Ÿ˜‚
