  1. Lands End sport corduroy leggings. I love them. They're very comfortable and the ribbing helps to blur...things. I bought several pairs when they had 50% sales off over Christmas and I wear them several times a week.

  2. I just received the chino midi skirt from Gap. I absolutely love them! Since I’m waiting on my body to return to pre-pregnancy status I need some items that are fuller through the hip and this skirt fits the bill. I’m 5’10 and it’s mid calf on me in the regular so petite ladies need petite sizing or it may be too long. The paper bag waist is amazing. I love all 3 colors but the pink is a little too clingy so that’s probably a return. Lots of great spring outfits with these!

  3. I had a good experience at Aritzia. I have ignored this place until now (it's actually next door to my favorite J. Crew in NYC). I needed a new winter coat for the brutal cold spell we were having. I was set to by a Canada Goose coat but EVERYONE ran out of the size, style and color I wanted and I was apprehensive about dropping $900 on a coat I didn't totally love. I saw that Aritzia had a bunch in the window so checked it out. I found a really good knock-off of the Canada Goose version I wanted for about $350 and another down jacket on sale for $125. It is a Canadian company so both were really well made and graded for Canadian sub-zero weather. I'm very happy with both. They also carried some Mackage coats but didn't have my size. This is the place to go for quality, reasonably priced coats, something that J. Crew is lacking in the heavy-duty warm department.
