Sought & Found: Did you visit J.Creaw this {past} Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopped by a J.Crew store this past weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store was/ is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

  1. No visit but took advantage of the 50% off sale to buy some leggings and excursion vests. Also ordered a few pairs from Athleta on sale and extra 20% off. I'm upgrading some of my lounge/workout wear for the New Year!

    1. I've been upgrading my lounge wear too. I find I change right after work and with little ones cozy clothes have been my go to. Wish we had athleta in Canada. I did buy some Roots sweatpants for my whole family this Christmas and forgot how nice the quality is and how cozy they are.

    2. I’ve never tried athleta so I hope it works. I ordered the size I usually wear in lululemon

    3. I LOVE Athleta!!! I wear their stuff all the time for running, yoga and mountain biking... And if course, just lounging around the house.

FYI I'm pretty consistent in sizing with those various athletic wear companies.

    4. Ok, fingers crossed I will be too. @Miss JR, have you tried the New Balance leggings from JCrew? I ordered the ones with side pockets in XS and S because they weren't final sale. I also tried the. j.crew leggings with the lace up detail on the ankles in XS and S. even if the XS is a little tight I can pass them on to my youngest daughter, and if the S Is a little loose I can pass them on to my middle daughter. For thick leggings I figured $20ish is a good price.

    6. I did try the leggings on once but I remember not liking them for some reason. I forget what size they were unfortunately. I do have a bunch of the new balance for j crew tops tho. Those have worked out wonderfully. Those have all been size small which is loose but not baggy and I wouldn't have been comfortable sizing down. For reference I'm usually a small, dress size 4 in j crew and occasionally size down to xs and 2.

    7. I usually prefer looser pants but figured I'd give these a shot. Hopefully they work.

    8. And I'm a 0/00 in bottoms/skirts but based on reviews thought I needed to size up to a small. Maybe not.

    9. Maybe that was the problem. Small was too small and medium was a little big (or long?)

Anyway... I hope they work out! (No pun intended). :)

  2. Happy New Year JCAs! Hope that 2018 is a wonderful and fulfilling year for all of us and wishing that 2018 can be a successful turnaround year for JCrew.

  3. I got a Super 120’s wool suit for $100 today. I’ve coveted JCrew suits for years and have never pulled the trigger. With the sale, 50% off plus an addition 15% off coupon, it ended up being about 75% off!!
