Seek & Find: Will you visit J.Crew this Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopping by a J.Crew store this weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

P.S. I noticed that many of you have already been reporting sale items (and in which stores) in other posts which by the way "thank you!" :) I really appreciate how helpful we are for each other!

  1. Sadie Pom Pom flat day...They just arrived. They are super duper great and they fit nicely. Happy Friday...I will only be stopping by the store to return a calf hair belt that was too big. I have the smaller size coming today.

    1. Enjoy! They are adorable. Next year I will jump on the holiday shoes much faster but still hoping for some pop backs.

    2. There are a few sizes that popped back today. I will bet you could find them at a store.

  2. I'm a little bit of an eBay addict and I'm on the site way too much. That's said, I just saw the Soirée Print cardigan in XS and the Bright Flame Wool Oxford in 10. Neither of these are my listings. I just thought maybe an aficionada would be interested.

  3. I remember when J. Crew used to do those amazing prints, full skirts with the library books on them, cardigans with a print that blended when buttoned. If I'd only known they would be short-lived.

    1. I love those old prints too, and have managed to grab a few on eBay. The Library print cardigan is on my perennial watch list!

    2. Oh, I miss all the prints too, especially the cardigans. Other lines do prints but they're never as pretty as J. Crew.

  4. Christmas arrived for me yesterday with three J. Crew packages. The blue zebra print shirt (I sized up one size), black Stewart plaid shirt and button front walnut skirt on super sale were all a success. Wasn't sure I would like the zebra print (funky or just goofy?), but have been a bit bored with gingham and florals lately. The blue of the zebra shirt is really pretty and I liked how it brightened up my black and gray pants and skirts. It's that lightweight silk-cotton that we usually see for spring and summer. With the larger size, I could fit a black turtleneck under it and liked the way that looked.

    1. Because the zebra shirt is that thin silk cotton I'd have to wear something over during winter which would cover up most of the zebras. Thought it might better for springtime.

  5. Happy mail day! Silver sequin skirt is lovely! This is my first sequin skirt & this turned out to be a great choice. There are multiple styling options. Highly recommend!

    1. @Mygoddy yay! How did you end up size wise? I saw it ran large and was able to grab a 10 yesterday online but I'm worried it might be too small. I am not sure I "need" another holiday skirt but this one was too pretty to pass up. Looking forward to seeing you style it!

    2. I have so much sequin in my closet that I decided to pass on this one. Now I'm kicking myself.

  6. I hear ya! I didn't need anything else either but when I saw it on @em_karol, all of my self control was gone, ha! I went with a 10 because of my hips; this is the larger of my 2 sizes. The waist is big but it skims the hips so nicely. Check with @carol06hawk if you need to try another size. I hope it works for you; you're gonna love this skirt!

    3. Ladies, please share pics of your fab skirts on Instagram. I've wanted to click 'buy' on that skirt so many times, but know I don't really have anywhere to wear it. But I know you guys will rock it!

    4. @Wendy, wore it last night to a holiday party & again to church today. Pics on IG (peterst1). This skirt really is a love for me. I'm surprised by just how versatile it can be & I can see pairing with tees & stripes too.

  7. I'm all J.Crewed out.

Love their clothing, it's 75% of what I wear but like a good thanksgiving dinner I've over done it.

Time for em to push back from the table and ease off.

What are the odds I last till Christmas?

    3. My guess is you'll make it until the next free shipping promo ;) I know you have a weakness for that (as do I). I placed several orders this week and hopefully I can hold off until I receive those.

  10. Has anyone seen the Sadie Ankle-Strap flat in velvet in size 6? That dark blue color is stunning and I think I'd get more wear out of it than the tartan colorway with pom poms.

  11. The Jane sunglasses (F6296) finally went on sale and were eligible for an additional percentage off (not final sale), so I bought the pink and the brown tortoise to try. That was an hour ago and now they are showing as sold out. Wondering if they are actually sold out.

    1. I love the style. But it lays weird between my eyebrows...it doesn't lay flat

    2. JSR, I had the same problem with the Betty sunglasses. It was like they sat too far away from my face. I was thinking of trying the Ryan sunglasses. Has anyone tried those?

      Delete
    3. @Lauren, I have the Ryan sunglasses and really like them. They are pretty comfortable, a tad heavy but that seems to add to their quality. Their size was a bit big for my usual comfort zone (usually I wear rayban aviators) but they look pretty stylish and elegant on. They do sit away from my face a little bit but I guess that's due to their size and it doesn't look weird in this style. I didn't get to try the other styles so I can't compare them but I'm very happy with their quality. Hth

  12. The Regent Toocoat in HTHR SORBET keeps popping back in my size so I took it as a sign.i wanted a pale pink coat, ordered the fuchsia blossom lady day (obviously bright pink) which I love because I wear my red one all the time, but the lighter pink, if it's not too salmony, will definitely work better with my wardrobe. I figured it's worth a shot.

    1. Suz, let me know what you think of the regent topcoat. I had to return mine because the lining was wrinkled in the chest area. It didn't seem like something that would straighten out with steaming and I didn't want to risk messing up the jacket by trying. Loved it, though.

    2. I definitely will. I tried the camel-ish color in store and wasn't wowed, but that color makes me look pretty washed out.
