Happy Thanksgiving Day! {celebrating w/ J.Crew}?

First and foremost... Happy Thanksgiving Day everyone! It's the time of year where we can spend time with our loved ones and enjoy a fantastic meal. It also officially starts the Holiday season. :)

Per JCA tradition, this post is to find out what everyone is going to wear. I find it really interesting to see what other Aficionadas and Aficionados plan on wearing (and of course it gives me lots of wonderful ideas for future outfits). :) So for this post, what we are planning to wear on Thanksgiving Day? :)

What are you planning to wear this Thanksgiving Day? Are you planning to go "head to toe" J.Crew or parts J.Crew?

    1. First year that I am not cooking. Having Thanksgiving lunch with the fam bam at celebrity chef, Tyler Florence's restaurant, Wayfare Tavern, in SF. Love his cooking!

    3. Thank you to all the well dressed women here. And I scored a red plaid Madewell tunic/long shirt at the clearance store. We're going out this year, for a change, and I'm excited! Also, get to celebrate my birthday!

    4. (Hi, all, I forgot to mention that I'd wanted to wear my beautiful blue and white tweed coat that I'd gotten from J. Crew, but it's too warm...)

  2. I already placed an order this morning, right after midnight. J.Crew website has a 40% off promo "holiday" that's valid on both sale and regular price merchandise (50% off final sale), plus Ebates is offering an additional 11% rebate through their app or 10% through their website.

  3. I grabbed the Avery suede pumps, the wool mini in black and some jewelry for gifts this morning but I have NO idea what I'm wearing today. It's pretty chilly today, just outside NYC. I have gone between jeans and a blazer or skirts and a blazer the past few years.

  4. I'm all JC today! The Drake bird silk perfect shirt, old soft lilac wool JC cardigan (with silk ribbon bow appliqué), and black wool JC pants. My shoes are not JC, they're brown Frye oxfords, but likely wearing one of my many JC coats when I head out the door. Thankful for JCrewaficionada and all it's commentary and reviews!

  6. I am wearing the always chambray shirt with the wolfstooth pants and a tuxedo blazer like the style guide suggested. I love it! (albeit a little cold in the NYC climate today)

  7. I wore black Ryder pants, a burgundy tippi cardigan, and last years collection sequin shell. I pulled out my elephant parade loafers to match my daughter's factory elephant parade dress.

  8. I wore the cashmere turtleneck sweater in academic green with a pair of Lookout skinnies & tall cognac leather wedge boots from Nine West. :) Hope everyone had a fab turkey day!

  9. I ended up wearing the faux Leather pleated mini in black, the tie neck blouse in vintage chamagne which I just tied once (no bow) and the Lena patent cap toe pumps. (Originally I had put on the wide leg wool pants--custom cropped-- which I love but my daughters HATE.

  10. Wore Collection black leather top from the Ckearsnce Store as a layer with Current Elliott Lawrence leather top, Vince leather shiraz pintuck leather pants & Gucci mules. More J Crew today: Friday tee, Saturday pants and New Balance kicks in salmon/navy. Layered with Moncler down hoodie jackets for cooler temps. Thanksgiving was awesome with family & a little bit of errand running for Black Friday.
