Seek & Find: Will you visit J.Crew this Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopping by a J.Crew store this weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

P.S. I noticed that many of you have already been reporting sale items (and in which stores) in other posts which by the way "thank you!" :) I really appreciate how helpful we are for each other!

  1. Probably no store visit for me, but I'm watching online promos with interest. Factory is now offering an extra 15% off "full price" items, and Madewell added a small 40% off sale section. Wonder if the deals will get sweeter as the weekend goes on?

  3. I will not visit the store this weekend but the order I just placed yesterday has shipped for the woven cork flats and the chino sailor pant in navy. It is coming out of Lynchburg which is good and in one box. Haven't gotten two items in the same box in quite some time. I was talking with an SA the other day and they said they have so many orders to fill in the stores they can't even get to all of them. I thought really, imagine that??? If you think something is going to ship from a store, it is best to call the store and do it directly, this online ordering and then shipping from a store takes forever. Miss the days of everything coming out of Lynchburg.

  5. OT - Is anyone a Nordstrom shopper, and knows when their end of summer season sale starts? Is it usually July? I know Neimans and Saks have their end of season sale right around now...

    Thanks in advance!

    1. I had an email that the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale starts July 22. I am not a card holder, but if you have one, you get early access to the sale starting July14.

    2. Thank you karend. I'm stalkiing a Madewell jumpsuit that is sold out in my size, but Nordstrom has it in stock. Not willing to pay full price for something I won't wear often--more along the lines of vacation wear.

  8. Canadian JCA's ....in Vancouver. I stopped into the factory outlet yesterday July 1st....on the way to pick up my friend at the airport. I have not "done " a factory trip in about 2yrs.
As reported form a JCA in the Toronto area the factory stores did have a bit of retail merch. mostly Vanocuver got pilled sweaters.
Alot was 50% off. the stores was very busy and the SA's were super friendly and very helpful. I did purchase a few items and the SA's went to great length to make sure (marching online prices etc) that I got the best deal. I came away quite pleased (mostly with the SA's) and look forward to another trip down the road.
++ any one interested the the new denim dress with the front (chest)pockets on it...it is very nice...the store didn't have my size. the SA told me Canada was getting free shipping online for July 1 canada day...so i ordered it when i got home.
earlier in the week I had to do a online return to the store on Robsen St. A security tag was left on a shipped item. no apology for inconvience...plus one item was left out on the return...i phoned back in less the an hour...as soon as I was home..and realized the error ($60 error) they credited me but again...not even aa apology.
So lesson learned count your returns and maybe factory is getting better. Carolyn from Vancouver

  9. Found a few things at the Factory store. The Embroidered 3" Pull-On Shorts (F3709) in navy/silver and white/gold are fun. They run large and I sized down and they are still a bit roomy. I also got the Chambray Tank Top (F0622). I sized down in this too (reviews agree it runs large). This has pockets on the side seams, and the top fits close to the body at the hem. I can't see myself using the pockets and they might add a little bit of bulk. I'm on the fence about keeping this, but the fabric is so nice (soft, lightweight chambray) and it's unlike anything else I have. I wish it were a smidge longer and/or had a vented hem.

    1. Also found a set of retail PJs (the light blue Vintage Short-Sleeve Pajama Set) for about $29, that was unexpected!

I was hoping to see what everyone is wearing for the 4th. Guess I'll scroll thru Instagram.
