I noticed a lot of new items went on sale or got lowered in price, like the Tiered Eyelet Midi Dress (item F2317) which is now on sale for $109.99 before discount. So definitely check it out!

Personally, I loved this promotion. Unexpectedly purchased quite a few items. Every time I think I am "shopped out" with the Crew, it pulls me back in. ;)

Will you be taking advantage of this promotion? If so, please share!

  1. It's worth checking the sale section for NEW markdowns today that have not gotten the dreaded FS. Like the gauze mini skirt, nets at $24.99, after 50% off. But do I need another summer skirt that I won't get to wear due to SF foggy climate? . I'm saving every penny I have for next weeks roll-out.

  2. Same here, happily purchased quite a few items, some of which were 50% off but not FS (shirtdress in coral, campbell trouser in bistretch cotton), also the sloan d'orsay flat in black suede for $24 which is a steal. Glad I stayed up for this (i live in Hawaii). Time for bed now :)

  3. I've definitely been lured in by the 50% off sale. I've bought a few cashmere sweaters for $45. I just couldn't resist. There are some great shoes for $24 today too, as well as a few price drops for some items.

  4. Ok I bit ... A Lot 😂 $24 sloans (gold, denim dot & gingham) - so much #sloanlove on Instagram recently how could I not? Also picked up the Laila wedges and tortoise gemmas. Happy shopping!

  5. I can't find a single thing in sale that I want to buy. I used to love shopping the sale section, don't know why it hasn't grabbed me much in the last year or two.

  6. Oh my, stuff I bought last week is significantly reduced even since yesterday. Purchased NOT final sale.im hoping they give me the current price adjustment. Bracelets I bought in store yesterday are way less than I paid. Grrrr. Happy with the purchases but hoping I get the price adjustment.

Thinking about buying the bucket bag as a gift.

  7. Definitely worth a look. The silk Carrie stripe dress is on sale; it was on my wishlist so I will buy it along with the stripe Gemma flats that are now $24. Both are at a store near me so I'll just pick them up. I like 3 or 4 items from the recent roll out. I'm not sure about buying this early since I won't be able to wear until mid to late October.

  8. I also bit big time. Got a bunch of shoes. At $24 I could not resist. Also reordered a few things I previously purchased and not worn yet at much lower prices. They will be returned. At least I know they will fit since all but one item ordered was FS.

  9. I actually bought for my daughter (ok, one pair of slogans for myself). Great prices for stocking up in the next size. $18 dresses and $10 t shirts.

  10. I bought the Sloan d'orsay flats in polka dot denim for $24. I've had my eye on them for a while. I don't usually buy final sale, but I've tried this particular pair on before and at that price I didn't mind. They are adorable.

  11. Question: I love the garden short in linen but don't wear much color aside from red. I already got the black. I'm contemplating getting the white or the bold red. Is the bold red more orangey. Like the persimmon in the gazebo pant? I don't like orange! I have seen the gazebo pant in that color and it definitely wasn't for me.

    1. Yes, bold red is orange, not red. I have the summerweight cardigan and it is definitely orange.

    2. Thanks ladies! I ordered the white. Crazy good price and I absolutely love the fit.i was tempted to get the eyelet mini in white too, since I love the black, but I think I'll get more use of the shorts.

    3. Oooh, thanks to Suz Has for asking and for Mygoddy & shopalot's replies -- I'm actually looking for an orange-ish colored sweater, but kept rejecting the Tippi in Bold Red, since Red doesn't work on me. I've gone ahead and ordered it. :-)

    4. TM93, it is a great color but deceptive to call it red. I ordered the Tippi this morning, too. :)

    5. I got my Bold Red Tippi yesterday - it is certainly more orange than even Vibrant Flame (which is what I was actually looking for to replace one I accidentally stained).

  12. The Collection Embroidered Summer Top (F2751) is $59.99 after the 50% off, and it's not final sale. I also picked up the Berry Melange Tippi and a ballet tee in vivid spearmint which was only $9.99 after the promo. I want to try the Collection Featherweight Cashmere Cardigan but it's final sale and the reviews are all over the place.

  14. I miss the days when we could combine JC and Factory orders. I have a handful of things in my cart for each, but not enough for free shipping on either side. Not that I *need* anything, mind you -- but I have a bad case of the wantsies today!

    1. Oh, me too. I noticed this morning that Factory has a few cute new tops. Of course, I don't need anything either!

    2. Me three. I walked away from a factory order today and only placed a retail order. I paid the $8 factory shipping twice in the last week and couldn't justify doing it again. Really wish it could be combined with retail...

  15. They got me with the price reductions. I only ordered items that I already own (Tippis, Jackies, tees) so I won't get stuck with clothes that don't fit. The prices on some colors of the Tippi sweater are crazy low. Really like the longer sleeves on the newer version.

  16. Hi ladies, can anyone help me with the fit of the Jackie cardi in the embroidered palm print? Also wondering about the shortness and quality? I surprisingly don't own any jackies. Thx!

    3. ARGH technology. Sorry for all the posts and deletes. Perhaps third time's a charm.
Hi Jan - I tried this cardigan on a few weeks ago when I was in store. I'm 5'8" (not a long torso) and a 12 M/L on top depending on the top. I tried the cardigan in a large and while the sleeves were a little loose, I needed the large to button across my chest. I think the sweater should be buttoned. So I would say it's TTS and I thought the quality was similar if not a little better than the other Jackie sweaters and the stitching of the embroidery is substantial. It's still the cotton/lycra mix that's been used of late, not the old 100% cotton combo. I've found my newer Jackies to hold up ok though. The link to my blog post if you want to see it IRL is here. HTH!

    4. Hi Jan - Anne's answer is great + she has a link to pics, but I'll chime in anyway. I tried S and it fit exactly. I wanted to be certain it will fit over a buttondown and not look too small, so I chose a M (5'0, 34DD). It's beautiful!

    5. @Anne & @ Gigi- thank you both so much! I'll go with the larger of my usual sweater sizes then. I'm going to buy from a store via charge-send so I can't try on since the black colourway is sold out online. I keep promising myself no more shopping til fall but I get sucked in by these sales. :)

  18. As much as I love a deal the sale section is pretty picked over and basically a bust.

I did happen to score at Marshall's; a Polo tie ($29) and an Armani one ($40). Start the car!!

  19. I ordered a wool jackie in the burnished orange color - I loved that color in the June catalogue (I think they showed a tippi in that color).

I feel like it will be a nice wear-to-work cardigan for fall. And maybe even summer, given our crazy AC situation.

  20. Ugh, it's killing me to see those gingham scarves marked down to less than $20! I bought two earlier in the season, happy to find them on sale in my local store, but I haven't even worn them yet as it's been so crazy hot. And now, I could buy both for much less than I paid for one! Oh well, I'll still love them for years to come.

    1. @shopgrrrl, i feel your pain. I stalked those Striped Gemmas for seemingly EVER and thought I was getting a *great* deal when I snagged them at $83 about two months ago or so (final sale at the time). I bought in my usual size but haven't worn them much, as I found them to fit slightly bigger than my usual size (even with a heel hugger).

Fast forward to today when there is an almost full-size run on them & they net something like $24 after all is said & done. !! Grrr.

  21. Placed an order for the Collection silk cropped yarn-dyed pants, that finally went on sale, the gingham Sloanes (will be my first pair of Sloanes, I'm more a Gemma girl) and the Avery heels that are in next week's roll out. They are not cheap but I fell in love with them when I saw them at NYFW

    1. I ordered the silk pant too to try as well as the matching top. Since it wasn't final sale I ordered two sizes the try. We will be twinning with the gingham Sloans too!

    2. Great minds etc, lol. I also ordered two sizes as the lone reviewer said to size up.

  22. So I wore my clip dot midi skirt to work today in white and a coworker said it reminded her of a chenille bed spread. I just wanted to share that with all the clip dot owners. I also have the rust one and I guess I will wait until she is off to wear that one. I was going to order the gingham sloan but I saw a pair in store and the quality did not look good, the pattern looked odd, the way it was printed on the shoe and they were already creased as do the gold ones. I personally love the gold ones but they do make a permanent crease across the top when you wear them for a very short time but they are a great price.

    1. Argh, don't you hate it when someone says something like that and then you can't get it it of your head? And really, why would you say something like that to someone, anyhow?

      Delete
    2. @DD, just ignore her. :) you said your hubby liked it right? I wore mine on vacation in Florida to a mall and two strangers complimented it. I think it's lovely although I'm biased. :)

    3. DD, I happen to love chenille bedspreads, so take that backhanded complimenter coworker! :)

  23. I picked up another Tippi sweater (Berry mélange), the polka dot Colette heels for $54 and the windowpane tweed dress for $35. I debated a pair of Sloans for $24, but I was really disappointed how the toes have worn/bent on my suede pair so I decided on the heels :)

I'm excited for the new rollout next week and last year the new rollout week in July coincided with that 75% off sale so I wonder (read: really hoping!) we'll see the same again this year.

    1. Hi Anne, I bought my first pair of suede sloans as I got sucked in by the price today. Sad to hear about your experience, wish I would've had more willpower today.

    2. @Jan I know a lot of other JCAs really love these shoes so I may be unfairly picky. I'm pretty hard on my shoes and these just didn't work for me. I love the silhouette and I hope they work out for you!

  24. I also got pulled in by this today. The suede patio pants that Gigi reviewed on her blog is now 60% off, so only $80. I did a store visit for the first time in a couple of months and luckily tried on some of the stuff that I ended up buying online a few minutes ago. I tried the eyelet patio pants, which I surprisingly liked -- this length is not always good on me at 5'2", but I ended up purchasing online instead, as I think I'd prefer petite. 60% off, $24. I also picked up the tiered eyelet dress Alexis referenced above in a petite; tried on in-store and the regular size straps are too long for me. Would love to catch that dress in black. And, I got lucky and caught the gingham sundress in my size -- it must have popped back during the day, because it was not available when I checked in early this morning. Lastly, the embroidered summer tops in both navy and white, which I have loved since it first came out -- saw in store today and is gorgeous. All of these items ran TTS for me -- is JC getting more consistent with their sizing?

Also, I bought the happy cat dress a month or so ago when it was still over $100 but do not regret -- I thought the elastic waist and tie straps might be too tweeny, but I actually loved it and always get compliments on it when I wear. I stuck with the regular, not petite, size though -- prefer the longer length. Recommend highly at the current great price.
