  1. Nice popbacks too! Scored the perfect shirt in steward plaid for $24... I know 'tis not the season but will gladly wait for next winter to trot it out.

  3. I was able to get the silk watercolor floral top last week and the print is gorgeous, so I purchased the silk watercolor floral dress this morning, on sale + 40%. I also got a backup of the French lame metallic blouse for just $60 (down from a stunning $450) which I purchased months ago after reading WFF's review here; I highly recommend this, the (mostly) silk fabric is beautiful, if just a bit scratchy. Also purchased the dalmatian print secretary top and incredibly, the leather striped strappy high heels.

  4. Awesome mini sale! I just bought 2 more of the ballet cap sleeve t shirt (f1659). Got one recently and loved it - great fit in my usual M, nice fabric weight and flattering sleeve. Perfect summer staple.
oh no, just now saw it it hand wash (!), well, I've had linen shirts of this type before from BR and they were fine with a regular machine cold and lay flat to dry but we shall see. :D

    1. Thanks for the review, Julie! I thought these looked great on-line. What colors did you get? Any problem with them being too sheer?
Thanks for the washing tip, too. I was wondering about the hand wash.

    2. Not sheer at all in the first one I got but it was a dark color (shadow). Just feels like a very substantial, smooth cotton, that's why I was so surprised today when I saw online it is a cotton/linen blend. I checked the tag on mine, it's 80% cotton, 20% linen.

  5. I love the idea of this, but it's endlessly frustrating to see items that were 30% for the last few days suddenly bumped to 40%. I hate to complain about an additional discount, but I could really do without the pricing games. And of course, the one item I had my eye on was sold out in all sizes by 9am EST this morning. So this one's a lose-lose for me.

  6. I ordered the downtown field jacket in burgundy; $71.99 after discount. Also ordered a few other things to try and am very glad final sale (in most cases) is gone for now.

    1. I did as well. I have been waiting for that jacket to be on a decent sale. Went into a store to get free shipping.

  7. J Crew Factory has sprung some new arrivals today. They have 40% off new arrivals, prices already marked, today only. And I checked that the HEYSPRING code is working for an additional 20% off. Use SPRINGCARD if you use J Crew Card and get 25% off. The codes expire on Friday, April 15.

  8. Sorry to be OT but I would love some advice on the Lace-up Ballet flats. I ordered them in the pagoda peach/pink and just received them, they fit TTS for me and are very beautiful. I'm worried about them being delicate - can anyone chime in on how they're holding up? I'd wear them to drive and outside and am worried about toe scuffing. I only really liked them on me with toothpicks and capris (didn't like with skirts) so I'm debating keeping them but they are lovely and sold out. :) thx!

    1. jan - Get taps put at the front of the toe, on the sole. They will help prevent the toes from being bumped because they will be a little bit off the ground. You can get them on the heels, too. Not the metal taps like tap dancing. Black, plastic taps.

    2. @jan - @villasba on Instagram has them and she said she wore them twice - once in the house, once out of the house and the toes were all scuffed after one wear outside. I would echo Gigi's comments to get some taps put on.

    3. @Gigi and @Anne, thank you so much! I never heard of the taps, if I keep them I will def have to look into that.

  9. Thinking about the petal brulee necklace, but there are no reviews on it. Anyone have it? Thoughts?

  10. OT, but I saw white jeans at Marshalls today. A couple of pairs each of Lookout High Rise, Toothpick, and Rayner Wide Leg.

  11. I forgot to give my clearance store run down...Got a pair of the navy wool tie front pants (really cute, TTS and they are on sale on the website) and also found the navy geometric blouse in navy that matches these pants perfectly (I am thinking monochromatic)This shirt runs large so luckily the one they had was one size smaller than my usual and fit nicely. Also found a collarless silk leopard blouse (wanted but could not ever get my size at a price I was willing to pay), brown crackled Biellas (go down 1/2 size) as reviews state (these are really cute and great quality). The other two noteworthy items are the collection cashmere blend fair isle pencil skirt (wait for it, $15.00) that is gorgeous (hello fall) and a pair of Madewell Riveter Coveralls ($22.50 and currently $158.00 on the website, run a litte on the small side) I also grabbed two white button up shirts for $5.00 each, one boy shirt and the short sleeve popover currently online. They had tons of swimwear but I not ready for that yet.

    1. Omg. I've been wanting that collection fairisle pencil skirt forever! So so lucky!

    2. I'm so jelly you live near a Clearance store. While I am happy to have the Fair Isle pencil skirt and probably wouldn't have risked it, but you can't beat that price.

  12. I tried on the Lightweight Wool Jackie Shell in Tawny Twig. Colour and knit were beautiful, but it was just too short. I'm 5'9" and would love to see this shell in a Tall, or just cut longer for greater versatility and less chance of it riding up.

I bought a painter T in Retro Yellow, and the Pave Hinge bracelet, both on deep discount.

I was hoping to get a Teardrop Crystal necklace, but in-store they were still full price. Too bad that today's promo didn't include free shipping.

  13. Meh. The selection that was on sale wasn't interesting and the one thing I did find was backordered until July!! And if under $150, you had to pay shipping. PASS.
