  1. I ordered the collins leather loafers, they were just what I was looking for in a nice work shoe, but somehow didn't realize that they are navy and not black!! It's a great shoe but the color choices are just not going to work with my work-wear wardrobe. I get that they are trying to do a twist on a basic black loafer, and I actually have the pink perforated loafers from a few seasons ago that I LOVE, but the colors for the collins loafers a bit too out there and just don't work for me. too bad.

Also WHY do they ship in a million different packages? I came home to 4 packages for 5 items! My fiancé was like, what did you order?!

  2. I ordered an item, by the 8th business day it hadn't shipped, so I called and the CSR couldn't tell me when it would ship. She contacted the store and they said they would overnight it to me, but she couldn't have it delivered in the morning, and I was going out of town in the afternoon. She told me I need to decide right then and there if I want it shipped or not because they're in a rush to send it out. No apologies were given, and she pressured me to decide whether I'd want a package sitting on my doorstep whole I'm out of town. I walked into my clisest store that afternoon, and there were 10 of the item in my size hanging in the sale room. I didn't buy it out of spite. I was horrified that the CSR rushed me after they took their sweet time, and she should have apologized since I waited iver two weeks and couldn't take my item on a trip with me.

  5. I finally pulled the tags off the cotton stretch patio pants I purchased this summer and they have stretched out SO much during the day...very disappointing. Reading reviews, I guess sizing down in these are the way to go but that doesn't always work for me. Sheesh, it's 2:00 and I want to hide in my office!

  6. I ordered a few items from Factory last week and received them yesterday. Unfortunately they have to be taken back because they reek of mold and mildew. :(. This should never happen.

  7. Have again run smack into the wall of inconsistent policies - my two usual Crew stores have been consistently applying the educator discount on top of the additional % off sale for the past 3 months, after a whole year when it only applied to regular-price items. Went to a different location last night and was refused the ED, told that 'those stores' were doing it wrong, and that the recently-reinstated discount policy had once again been rescinded. Regardless of the fact that it had been applied only the night before. Make up your mind, JCrew. It's a total turnoff when you play these silly games.

    1. My stores give me the teacher discount on top of % off sale, and they have for a while now. The only time they don't honor ED is when there is a % off regular price items, as in the 30% off entire store promos. They should have this be consistent at all stores.

  8. It annoys me that the tall sizes sell out so quickly in everything, even at full price! You would think JCrew would take the hint and produce more of those sizes. There are so few fashionable tall retailers that it becomes frustrating that the reg and petite sizes are all still fully stocked!
