  1. Ugh! Bought the leopard Lucie's last year - wore them a handful of times and stored them in their shoe bag. Pulled them out on Monday, wore them an hour and was walking down the hall at work and the strap broke! Are you kidding me!!

  2. I've had thar happen to me before. I called and complained and they told me to get them repaired and they would reimburse me. I think they reimbursed me with a gift card but considering the time frame I thought it was generous.

  3. Saw on Instagram that J Crew is closing their store in Schaumburg, IL (Woodfield Mall) this month. Has anyone heard of other store closings?

    1. Leaving woodfield mall?! I am so surprised. I honestly would have thought northbrook court or lake forest before woodfield....

    2. My opinion only: it seems J Crew really does not like indoor shopping malls. I miss my store so much. It's now a big Victoria's Secret - like the world needs more of those! :(

  4. HollDoll thanks! I'll call them tonight. It's pretty aggravating given their cost!

  5. Update on the Lucie, if you own a pair (or 3, like I do). I inspected all three pairs and each shoe has the same problem, which indicates a design flaw. The fastener that goes through the strap holes also is designed to go trough the elastic that holds the strap loop. So, every shoe will do this, not potentially will do this, they WILL break at that point as the strain exerted on the elastic is too great. While I will see if the cobbler can come up with a better solution, I will likely return all 3 pairs for full credit. A shame, they are darling shoes!!

  6. Sending back another two boxes of returns ):
I miss the consistent sizing that J Crew used to be known for. Like many others I really miss the longer and fitted tees, tops and sweaters, everything I have tried recently is either cropped or too boxy! And please J Crew make more tops with even slight scoopnecks and v-necks, the high crew neck is not flattering on many!! The amazing colors are the only thing I still love about J Crew (:
