J.Crew Sale on Sale Back On!

"Thanks!" to  many of you who shared the following email from J.Crew.

J.Crew is bringing back their offer to take an additional 40% to 50% off final sale styles with promo code HELLOSALE. This offer expires February 8, 2015. The fine print includes:
*40% discount valid on the purchase of final sale items marked "Extra 40% off with code HELLOSALE" and 50% discount valid on the purchase of final sale items marked "Extra 50% off with code HELLOSALE." Offers valid at jcrew.com from February 6, 2015, 12:01am ET through February 8, 2015, 11:59pm ET. Offers not valid in J.Crew or J.Crew Factory stores, at jcrewfactory.com or on phone orders. Offers cannot be applied to previous purchases and cannot be redeemed for cash or used in combination with any other offer. To redeem, enter code HELLOSALE in the promo code box at checkout. Limit one promotional code per order. Offers valid in the U.S. and Canada only. Terms of offers are subject to change. Final sale items cannot be returned or exchanged.
Thank goodness this sale is back! Because I refused to look at the sale section without it. For real. Plus, the sale section was busting this morning with over 2000 items for women.

I also stopped by my local J.Crew store yesterday and noticed they removed the additional percent off sale promotion too. The fine print states this offer is good only online and not at stores, but I am curious if that is true.

Will you be taking advantage of this promotion? Any items you are excited to get? Please share!

  1. Lol. I chuckled this morning when I received the email. We all knew the 40% off would be back... Who buys at 25% off? ;) I'll be getting a few items for my husband and nephew. They are already sitting in the cart. I was just waiting for the promo to come around!

  4. Everything I click on is so popular it has sold out! Someone likes the sale. The few items that made it to my cart didn't make it to checkout. I gave up!

  5. I can't remember if anyone had written about the high rise lookout jeans and the fit? From the website reviews, it seems like they really vary in sizing by wash? much appreciated!

    3. I have to say that I absolutely love the lookout high rise jeans. I own multiple pairs in black and two of the dark navy washes, kirk and resin I believe. They are almost as comfortable as Pixies and retain their shape even after multiple wears, other than a slight stretch out in the first ten minutes. I bought them in the same size as my JCrew mid rise toothpicks. For reference I normally wear a 6 in pants and skirts and I bought these jeans in size 29. And the very best thing of all for me, they are the first style in so many years which do not create a muffin top! I personally hope they make these for a long time.

    4. I love these jeans as well. In the black and white washes I had to size one up from my toothpick size, but I have a thick waist compared to my hips. The other washes I stayed the same. There was a sign at my local b&m stating that the lookouts were 25% off today.

  6. I got a bunch of stuff that I know will be fine. Belts for my son, several bottles of the sachajuan hair oil, cashmere hats and scarves, and am trying the primaloft layering vest in petal, in spite of the bad reviews, as this is not yet final sale. Mauve and blush toned pinks are my new neutrals -- I love these colors, pretty to look at and they brighten up my skin tone.

  7. I ordered a few things I was waiting on - I won't bite on final sale unless is is super cheap and it is something I'm sure of the fit on. Ordered the collection cashmere stitch sweater in rusty clay. A bit of an odd color, but I have it in the grey and in the chocolate brown and love that sweater, so I'm willing to go for it.

  8. So happy this sale is back. I went to the store today and found several items to purchase but only 30% off. Lucky for me I asked to speak with a manager and I asked to honor the 40% off and they said yes!!

  12. Here is an IRL pic of the Layering vest in Dark Charcoal. I ordered online last night in an S but I happened to be at the mall today and tried it on in both an S and XS. The XS fit better so I bought it in store. They honored the online price of $45. I'll return the S when it arrives.

I also ordered the Painter Boatneck tee in Stripe in grey, the Swing Drapey Skirt in Twill in Black, the Circle Bar Pendant necklace, and a Vintage Cotton V-neck in chrome (final sale).
