  1. This might be old news to some of you, but I was pleasantly surprised last week when I found myself in need of cancelling my order (missed selecting the economy shipping). Apparently, there is a 60-minute window after placing an order online during which customers are able to cancel the order. (I know of only one other website that provides this service - Amazon). In fact, the other day I needed to cancel an order I had placed just a few minutes prior on another vendor's website because I forgot to use a promo code for an additional discount. To my surprise, I was not able to cancel even after contacting CS directly, and the order went through.

So, yeah, I'm loving this option on the J. Crew website!

    1. Hi Ivanka - I love this feature and have used it several times...it has come in very handy.

Loving the Factory 40% with additional 10-20%.

  2. I mentioned on here the other day that I ordered the Nike Waffle Racer with the 40% sale + free shipping on all orders. I mistakenly ordered my regular size instead of the unisex size. I was looking for popbacks in the unisex size all during the 40% sale and never saw one. Yesterday, there was one in the correct size, so I ordered it. I chatted with CS and explained what happened and they gave me the 40% off + free shipping! I hadn't even expected the free shipping, she just threw that in. I'm really pleased that they did this. I probably would not have kept the shoe at the regular sale price ($74.99) as its not something I absolutely need, but I love it at the discounted price of $44!

  3. Just want to give a shout-out to the VPS at King of Prussia, PA who helped me solve a charge/send mixup last week, as well as the Greenville, SC team who helped me find an item I was desperately searching for and then helped me figure out the proper price for it. Top notch customer service both times and the SAs I spoke with were patient and pleasant on the phone. Thank you so much to both of these teams!!

  4. Folks, I've been stalking the tippi in warm cocoa for months, and finally decided to buy the grey instead and lo, suddenly there was one warm cocoa in my size as well! Fingers crossed that the order goes through! I've had good luck with such things at JC so far...

  5. Want to acknowledge great CS at J Crew. An item I ordered they ran out of, I got an email and a phone call about the item. Got a shipping notice on two other items on the order but one item I did not hear about for 3 days, called CS and they said it was shipping that day and I would get in usual 6 business days. 5 minutes later got a call back from the CSR to tell me that the order would be received in 2 days and it did arrive in that time. Thank you J Crew, your CS is great these days.

  6. I want to send a shout out to an awesome VPS at J. Crew. She isn't mine, but I hope she is yours. J. Crew has taken to have VPS folks call when a portion of your order is cancelled. The VPS offered to honor the price I paid on another similar/replacement item. I am an enthusiastic sale shopper, so per the replacement option, she suggested (as alternatives) a cashmere hat (item 07050) for about $6, eaton boy trousers (03704) for about $23 and the jeweled convertible clutch (07807) for about $84. I nearly fainted but managed to confirm my billing info before falling out. Has anyone else gotten this offer? Even if it is a one-shot deal, you won't find me complaining. Thank you J. Crew, your VPS folks are thebomb.com.
