J.Crew Factory: Extra 30% Off Shirts {men & women}

"Thanks!" to many of you, including GigiOfCa (in this post), who let us know about the following promotion this morning.

J.Crew Factory is offering customers to take an extra 30% off all shirts for men and women with promo code SHIRT30. The offer expires October 17, 2013. The fine print includes:
Offer valid on the purchase of men's and women's shirts made at jcrewfactory.com from October 15, 2013, 12:01am ET through October 17, 2013, 11:59pm ET. Offer not valid in J.Crew or J.Crew Factory stores, at jcrew.com or on phone orders. Offer cannot be applied to previous purchases or the purchase of gift cards and cannot be redeemed for cash. To redeem, enter code SHIRT30 in the promo code box at checkout. Limit one promo code per order. Offer valid in the U.S. and Canada only. Terms of offer are subject to change.
I am really loving the offerings over at Factory. Although I am surprised by how much Factory is knocking off the retail versions (from previous seasons).
I remember maybe a handful of items reminding me of retail versions. However, it seems like almost every other piece from Factory is a derivative of retail.  On a bright note, at least customers get a second chance at owning those coveted pieces! :)

Will you be taking advantage of this promotion? If so, please share! :)

  1. No, I got what I wanted from the 50% off sale, so I'll be sitting this one out.

  2. k j.crew factory's prices are ridiculous. I bought the top you have pictured on the factory first day last week for $65.50. The next day I reordered the top when it was $45.50. Today, with the 30% off price it would be $56.35. All in the span of about a week.

  3. Nothing for me from Factory - the prices are all over the place, and I don't want to pay shipping (or return shipping). It's always interesting to see what designs get a second life there, but it's also kind of weird - especially when the "original" items are still popping back on the retail site. I saw the original hothouse dress in the fall sale section this morning.

  4. Thanks to Gigi's Instagram post late last night, I was able to reorder most of my previous 50% off order with an additional 30% off! Love the twilight zone double dip. Thanks again, G!

  5. i have a review of an oldie but a goodie here - factory classic button-down shirt in gingham!

    it's become practically a basic in my closet and i recommend it.

    i sort of like seeing a lot of the more "popular" retail styles show up in factory. it gives people the chance to get an item they may have missed and at a lower price point, to boot.

  6. Has anyone seen the Factory Ripstop Utility jacket in XS in their local store? Mine doesn't have any and they are sold out online.
    Thanks!

  7. Has anyone tried the Factory Jeweled Raglan Sweatshirt (item # 06300)? It is backordered until 10/29 and I haven't seen it yet in the store. How did it fit, was it short? Were the jewels on it nice or cheap looking in person? Were the jewels on the back of the sweatshirt too or just on the front? Thanks!

  8. Love the factory. Glad they remake items in less expensive fabrics. Not everyone needs/wants silk all the time. I am fine with washable poly esp. when around little sticky fingers;0
