This is a great time to check out Madewell's sale items. Plus, free shipping on any order makes ordering that one item super convenient!
My top pick is the Illustrated Stateside Tote (Item 37735; $5.00) now $4.00 (before discount). Who doesn't love an inexpensive canvas tote with whimsical illustrations and facts on states like California and New York?

Will you be checking out Madewell? Did you already pick up an item or two? If so, please share!

  1. I think they were giving those state totes away at one point, I got one when at a Madewell store opening! It is cute but small, good for small loads :)

  2. I just bought a ring and a bracelet - figured why not with the free shipping at % off :) There wasn't a lot of sale that interested me but I LOVE what I've seen of the Duet Mini Wedge

  3. This is a really good sale! I see a few pairs of their SkinnySkinny jeans, which I highly recommend if you're in the market for a pair, as well as the Ankle-Strap Mini Wedges and Silk Boyshirts.

    1. @Whitney, do the ankle strap mini-wedges fit TTS or should I size up? Can you give a quick review of it and the boy shirts? How do the silk boyshirts compare with JCrew's boyshirt fit?

  4. I will be visiting the store/s this weekend, so I may get better bargains there.

  5. I'd love to bite but prices are still too high for the pieces I want.. I'll wait for another markdown (or a 40% off!).

  6. I really like the city storyteller scarf in the polished metal( item #16995), but it's still about $40(originally $59.50), so I'm not sure if I want to wait for further discounts or make the most of the promo. I saw the scarf in person at Garden State Plaza mall in NJ a few weeks ago and it's soo perfect for spring/summer, extremely lightweight and soft. It's more of a deep lilac/gray color with different areas of nyc highlighted. I love all the storyteller scarves in general. They are so creative and remind me of all the fun places I've visited.
