J.Crew Final Sale {nice update}

J.Crew has a nice update to their Final Sale section online (click here) this morning. Lots of merchandise for everyone (940+ for Women and 340+ for Men). Yey!

As you might expect, a lot of the items are selling out quickly. So there may be some item ghost pages. However, if you were up early enough, you might have scored a great popback or two.

Lastly, I know the fine print of the STYLE30 promotion (for an additional 30% off sale), clearly states it's available online only. Just curious, are there any brick & mortar (B&M) stores running it too? (Not that it helps me much, since I can't leave my home. The snow blizzard from Friday/Saturday is keeping me captive in my house as my street has not been plowed... I am not bitter about that or anything.)

Did you check out the Final Sale section today? Were you able to snag any amazing deals? If so, please share! :)

  1. I hope you have power- it is awful to be snowed in. Thanks for posting, stay warm and safe! Thankfully, the one item I have my eye on is not available in my size. That makes it easier to save for spring!

  2. Sorry, OT forgot to mention- Style.com will be posting the J Crew RTW Fall 2013 Runway show sometime today. I am looking forward to seeing their new offerings. I reviewed pieces from the Kate Spade show the other day on my blog On Trend Orchids the other day, and can't wait to see the new J Crew show. That would be a good snow day activity!

  3. I'm so sorry to hear about you being snowed in Alexis! Hopefully they'll clear your street soon. On the bright side, there are plenty of RTW shows to watch this week, so as long as you have power that could help pass the time. :)

    1. Thanks FFM! :) I agree, I hope we will be plowed soon too. Especially since there is another snow storm for Wednesday/Thursday.

  4. I hope you are plowed out soon, Alexis, that is frustrating.

I was up early but didn't place an order (usually I don't, but I can't help looking). Nothing is catching my eye lately.

  5. Hope you get out today Alexis. Question? Has anyone seen the color Red Pepper IRL? The cashmere tee is on sale for $59.99 in this color, it looks pink on my monitor but when I think red pepper I think red..any help appreciated TIA.

  6. I succumbed to the stadium cloth mod coat in yellow. Have been waiting for it to get marked down for a looong time. I could use it, because all of my other wool coats are kinda dressy, and I don't want to wear my puffer all the time. I hope I love it.

  7. I think the allure of getting snowed in lasts a few days and then it's just boring. I love a good day tucked in with wine and pjs but...after a few days knowing you can't go anywhere it's frustrating! I hope you get cleared out soon :)

I bit this morning...I desperately need a refresh of a lot of basics so I picked up a black and navy tippi, some vintage cotton v-neck tees and the schoolboy blazer in pearl grey which wasn't showing up final sale (sized up based on reviews so I hope it works!)

  8. OF COURSE the Blythe Blouse goes on sale in all colors the week after I buy one at full price. I tried one on once a few years ago and didn't like it, but I really needed a white/ivory silk blouse to replace an old RL one that finally wore out. I wanted to try the Blythe again with the ability to return. I don't know if J.Crew changed the fit or what, but I love it now! Too late to play the order/return game, since I'm wearing the blouse as I type this comment.

    1. You could order it, then when you get it, return using the original order form where you paid more. Do you see what I'm saying? I have never done that, and no one has ever stated the practice on this blog in such explicit terms, but I know JCAs have alluded to doing such things. Just throwing it out there.

Or could you just get a price adjustment?

  9. Sorry, can't reply directly on this computer....

I catch your drift, but I don't care enough about the discount to make the effort at this point, haha. Plus, I'm happy with the blouse and think it's worth full price, so I don't regret the purchase, I'm just annoyed with J.Crew's discount games. Thanks for the tip, though!

  10. I feel like everyone hates Iced Lilac! It always seems to be the orphan color left after all the others are gone. I got the merino V-neck in iced lilac and I think it's nice. Great for spring.

    4. I just bought the long merino cardi in iced lilac too but can't figure out what colors to pair with. any suggestions?

    5. I wore the v-neck with a pinstripe button-down and gray pants. See it here. In spring I think it will look good with the Number 2 Pencil in blue lagoon which I got before Christmas.

  11. I bit too, and was finally able to complete an order without items flying out of my cart (even after I put in my credit card number!). Basics - Tippis, #2's etc. Only one item was final sale so I don't feel nervous about the order.

    2. Makes you wonder how much earlier one must get up to score in the final sale or how much faster our fingers have to hit "check out" before losing out! it's insane

  21. Does anyone know about what time the new sale items are posted? Like how early is "bright and early" in terms of getting on the Jcrew sale site?

  22. 5:45, Eastern time. By 5:51, there were ghost pages in the jewelry section.

  23. There seems to be a huge update this morning! Quite a few of the new items are in the sale section? For example: reverse-jacquard stripe popover, pop art tee, colorblock merino cardigan, sera top, tipped boy shirt (just in navy it appears). Also, the coveted cocoon coat price has dropped to $169 for all colors! Exciting for someone who got up early this morning!
