J.Crew Spotted in Seventeen Magazine

A big "thanks!" to fshnonmymind (of the amazing "Notes From The Dressing Room" blog), who not only let us know about a few J.Crew items being spotted in the latest issue of Seventeen Magazine, but also scanned the images for us to view! (Click on the image to see it larger.)

The first item is a short sleeve button-down top with a whimsical print that features palm trees and perhaps sailboats. (Item is on the model to the right in image above.)

The second item is a houndstooth skirt, with a retail price of $148. (Item is on the model in the image below.)
Both items look cute! I look forward to checking them both out in-person.

What are your thoughts on the pieces from J.Crew? Do you like the style of the top? Are you a fan of the skirt?

  1. Is this how the kids are dressing these days?? Lol well i dont like the short, the skirt and girl wearing it are adorable but I would never ever style it like that.

    1. Nah, Seventeen and Teen Vogue both pick some really peculiar outfits for kids. Sometimes they look nice but way too dressed up for school.

  2. Does anyone know the brand of jeans the girl is wearing with the shirt?

    1. I think they are these Marc by Marc Jacobs:

  3. I do like both items but probably won't buy either of them. I do like the skirt a lot and would do it if it was a no. 2 pencil. I agree that kids don't dress like this. I teach at a University and the majority of students dress Very casual - lots of college tshirts, hoodies, etc.

  4. Alexis, I agree with you that both of the items look cute. I wonder if they will offer the skirt in another color other than orange aka 'modern red'.
