  1. I had a great experience with CS on the phone. I ordered a Saint James collab shirt during the last 30% off sale items code but found I couldn't use it even though the item description and the code fine print didn't exclude 3rd party items. I ordered it anyway, and kind of fumed about it in my head for a few days before I decided to give JCrew a call. I explained that my last two purchases all had 3rd party collab items and I was still able to use codes at the time, and I didn't understand why the policy suddenly changed and why the fine print didn't exclude collabs. After waiting about 10-15 minutes while the rep talked it out with her manager, they first offered me a gift card worth the amount I would have saved if I had used the code, then they decided to straight up refund me the amount. It was very nice of them and they were very apologetic. I notice that the new codes and product descriptions now specify that they're exempt from sales codes. Which is a shame because I almost exclusively buy JC collabs, which seem to be better quality. Has anyone had similar experiences with codes + collabs?

  2. Love that J.Crew continues to offer % off promotions. Now if they would just finally do away with final sale...

  3. Love my Eden merino cardigans from last year. Total workhorse in my wardrobe, kind of like my uniform for fall/winter. I wish J Crew would make this sweater again as I would love to get more colors.

  4. Forgot to mention that I got my Factory order yesterday and love, love, love the Factory Charlie sweater in leopard. It's the same animal print as the wool scarf from last year. This is a gorgeous 100% merino sweater that has a little heft to it. The price wasn't bad, either. I can't wait to wear it; maybe tomorrow!!

    1. I completely agree! Received mine yesterday as well and am very impressed. I'm looking forward to wearing it. Fit is TTS - I ordered a Large (usually between M and L, but prefer L if fitted) and I like it better than the Tippi - the Tippi in the large has somewhat baggy sleeves (but I know a M would be too tight elsewhere). The Factory Charlie fits perfectly! I also received the blackwatch plaid pencil skirt and like it a lot as well - a light-weight wool blend but with an acetate lining (rather than polyester). For the price, I'm definitely pleased.
