J.Crew's Jenna Lyons - Fall Line 2012

The following video is from CNBC's "J.Crew and the Man who Dressed America" special that aired back in May 2012.

The mini-interview is interesting. However, truth be told, I am scouring the mannequins for glimpses of what might be new additions to J.Crew's Fall 2012 line.

I also have to give credit to Jenna, she looks good in that sequin outfit of hers! I could (and would) never pull that off. But she does, and does it well.

What are your thoughts on the video? Did you spot any pieces that you already own or can't wait to see?

  1. Thanks for posting, Alexis. It's always interesting to see interviews with Jenna and Mickey.

  2. Why do we need 3 shawl cardigans? We don't. That was funny to me. Some of them look like they're paralyzed, not knowing what the right answer is. Button or no button. I wonder if anyone raised their hand. lol

It's good to see someone excited about their work, like Jenna is.

  3. Mickey seems like a reasonable guy, Jenna seems reasonable, but then we get some inexplicable clothing anyway lol. I like the sense of fun they have, I just think they need to take a different eye on the editing sometimes.

  4. Off topic regarding Jenna. Did you see Jenna's top in recent pics (this is an awful tabloid article about her personal life - who cares). I'm trying to figure out how she walked or moved with one button keeping this shirt together. LOL:

They did mention J.crew blogs increasing her popularity.
