  1. For anyone interested in the adorable polka dot film noir heels, check out my review here.

I originally ordered a size 8.5 at the insistence of Madewell CS that their shoes run TTS. Should've listened to JCAs...order UP a half a size in these. With the sale this morning, I re-ordered a size 9 and will be taking back the 8.5 pair (CS put a note on my order that I could return FS this one time. It was my first Madewell purchase!) These shoes are gorgeous and well worth this sale price, IMO.

    Hope this helps someone!

    1. Oh, no! Do their pumps run small? CS assured me that the leopard-print film noir pump ran TTS, and I JUST ordered it in a size 6 (since I'm usually a 6 and occasionally a 6.5). Two different CS reps told me it ran TTS--and that I couldn't return it, no matter what. ARGH!

    2. They ran small in my case :( Maybe the leopard print pair is different?

I know...I was so annoyed when two different CS reps insisted they were TTS then I got them and they were tight. I will say though...I wore them around the house a few times and they did stretch out a bit each time. You can probably make them work if they are too tight (but fingers crossed they are fine!)

    3. I agree, their film noir pumps run a tad small, but maybe you can get them stretched a bit.

I have pics of various shoes and sandals on my blog, for anyone who would like to check them out.

  2. I picked up the sandbar sweater in chilean fower and it is not final sale. Quite a few items seem to NOT have the dreaded final sale notation on checkout. I'm totally spooked when it comes to final sale at J.Crew, Madewell or anywhere for that matter.

    1. xoxo, I did a double take when I posted the sale to make sure it was not just for final sale items. That was nice to see.

  5. Yay! I scored the patent Monas in the cinnamon shade which I have been waiting to go on sale since I saw them in the catalog. Seems to be the only Mona on sale. I sized them Instore and found that while I take a 9 in most JC leather shoes, I have to go down a half size in patent. And I have a wide foot. HTH somebody contemplating them. They were reg $252 and I got them for $120.
