Sought & Found: Did you visit J.Crew this {past} Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopped by a J.Crew store this past weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SPRING sale, or to see some new SPRING/SUMMER arrivals {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store was/ is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

  1. Visited both JC and the crewlet. Sale sections in the regular store were quite unchanged from the previous visits. The new arrivals will be in on Wednesday, we were told.

The crewlet was offering 40% off on sweaters, 30% on pencil skirts, and a few other deals I cannot recall. New 100% cotton sweater called Thandie that is a Tippi replica. It came to $30 after discount.

Will have photos later this week.

  2. Visited my local crewlet (45mins away, lol) and picked up a navy mini skirt with pink stripes and a crewcuts pink elephant necklace. Mostly went there to make returns

  3. Visited Orlando B&M. Small sale section w plenty of necklace lace tees. Fit was loose, runs big, dolman sleeves. (Unbecoming IMO). Tried on the new Olimpia suede wedges...sooo comfy, TTS,love them. Warning though, they have a very narrow footbed, straps are fine. I recommend trying on first if u have a wide foot. Also tried the flat leather Olimpias, tts, not narrow like the wedges, though somehow not as comfy, hmmmm ( the jury is still out on these, will wait for the suede version) SA's were wonderful, friendly :o).

  4. Went to the Michigan Ave., Chicago store on Saturday but walked away empty handed. I've been really interested in the denim pencil skirt but they didn't have it. Just looked online and there are only two sizes left. I don't get it. Make more, JC! I also was interested in the contrast stripe long sleeve tee...they had it, but not in my size. I've got that rewards card burning a hole in my pocket but nothing to use it on. Sigh...

  5. I thought that 100% cotton tippi replica at the factory was terrible... so thin it wasn't wearable, in my opinion. It is that featherweight cotton that snags/pills immediately. I was disappointed because in theory, it could be a nice, classic sweater.

  6. I was able to get the promotion 20% order of $150 at the SF store. I picked up the Tillary tote in camel with the 20% and was super happy about that.
