JCA "Help Style Me!" Weekly Post

This is the weekly "Help Style Me!" post, where we can share items we are having trouble putting outfits together with. Elaine (in this post) says it best, "You know, that thing you bought because you love it and you keep pulling it out and then putting it away without wearing it?"

Please share your J.Crew item (either that you own or are thinking about getting) that you would love help creating an outfit with.

Also, please help out by offering your styling advice. Feel free to include links to your blog (where you incorporated that piece) or to Polyvore (where you showcased an outfit with that piece). Thanks in advance! :)

  2. Clarification needed: Hi Ladies, I received the Jardin skirt in the Heartthrob print last night and it is great! Only problem, I can't for the life of me tell if the background is black or navy? I held up both black and navy shirts and it could seriously go either way.

Does anyone know if the heartthrob print is red/black or red/navy?

Thought I'd throw it out here first, before I contact customer service. Thanks!!

  3. Can anyone recommend a belt to go with the amie maxi dress?

I actually have the navy with white stripe version.

I don't really like how the belt emphasizes the hips the way they've styled it on the website - I'd prefer something belted a little higher.

    Thanks!

  4. CCS - there's certainly been questions about whether it's black or navy in the heart throb print. The description on net-a-porter says navy and red heart-print stretch silk.

But! The online pic looks black to me so maybe we can all agree wearing with either color is not wrong. ;)
