  5. The Boden winter sale began a few days ago. Some of their limited edition items are on sale, as are some items on deep discount from the summer.

  6. Lauren PhD is right...some of the summer items that had been only partially reduced were insanely reduced on Sunday. I picked up a few items I had been eyeing but wasn't sure I felt was worth the prior sale price.

(Lots of great maternity pieces from spring/summer for "Motherhood Maternity on sale" prices!)

Many of the limited edition items are reduced by over half, which for the quality is an amazing deal. The fabrics and detailing on Boden's limited edition is well done, so some of the current prices are rock bottom for what you receive.

I did a blog post Sunday night highlighting the best deals and fast movers of the sale, and in true form, many of them have sold out...however, you may want to take a look because popbacks occur frequently (check when you wake up for best chances).

I will also be doing a blog post with reviews later today or tonight, and many of those will be from the limited edition line.

  7. LEC put many new items on clearance this morning. If you combine the lower prices with the 30% that mommydearest posted, you can get some amazing prices. I ordered another lambswool Aran sweater. I already own the ivory and I've been waiting for a good deal to order the navy. I also ordered a couple cashmere sweaters. I've never tried the LEC cashmere, but if I don't like it, it's easy to return LE products at Sears.

  8. I like LE cashmere. The sweaters I have are from a couple of years ago and I have a few older than that:) but all have worn very well.

I ordered from the Boden sale. I already have several pieces from this year that were on sale earlier in the season and are very nice! Some great prices and the quality is like old J.Crew.

  9. This week I was able to get a few kitchen and bath things at Anthro's 30% off sale with free shipping. I got bath towels, latte bowls, and a strainer that I can use for fruit or veggies. I liked that it was off the sale prices too. LE Canvas has been very good in recent months (for stocking up on basics).

  10. I am also loving LE Canvas. Check out the hunting jacket for $50. Can you imagine what that would cost at J Crew?

  11. Omg the canvas cashmere sweater is a great deal! Girls, which color do you like? I can't decide.

  12. 20% off your purchase of $150+ for Anthropologie.

    LAPWYVN8JTH

Post if you use it, thanks!

  13. Count me in for Lands End and LEC cashmere love! I have somewhere around 20 of them, and they are simply beautiful. No pills or signs of wear even after many, many wears. And did I mention I didn't pay over $40 for a single one of them? The colors seem to be getting better and more J crew-ish lately too. Well worth it, even at the full price!

  14. I just ordered four of the LEC cashmere sweaters. With the 30% and 10% through Discover, they were about $40! I know the neck looks a little casual, perhaps even thermal shirt-ish, so I'm nervous about the colors I chose. But what a deal! I had ordered the sweater earlier in the season but returned it for the price I paid, but it was a hard item to part with because it was so SOFT and substantial.

  15. BTW, mommydearest, thanks for the promo code. And Jeanne, thanks, because your comment made me realize it was for LEC too, not just LE.

  16. Sorry about all the posts. Now I will have this in the corduroy and the wool, what great prices. I already have the corduroy, and the fit is very cute:

  17. I have quite a few LE cashmere sweaters from the regular line. I assume that the LEC quality is the same. I always feel comfortable buying from LE as they have that wonderful guarantee.

My only LEC cashmere is the hand knit sweater that I received in the mail yesterday. I love the cable knit, but I don't care much for the lacy open knit on the sides and sleeves. Unless you don't mind your underwear and skin being visible, it must be worn over a shirt, tee or cami. I ordered both colors to compare, and I like the dark khaki much better than the oyster. The knitting on that sweater seems to be slightly better, too, so that's the one I plan to keep.

  18. I prefer cashmere that you don't have to wear anything under, too, otherwise why pay for something so soft that you only then layer away from your skin?

  19. Rave about RueLaLa: A few weeks ago I ordered a DKNY coat from them for $109, which I thought was a great deal because the same coat is *on sale* at Bloomie's for $250 right now. Well, I was just browsing, and sometimes they bring back stuff they still have in stock after the normal boutique ends and slash the price even more. Now the coat is $49, it was available in my size and I am still within the return period for the one I originally ordered. So I basically called and said, can you give me a price adjustment so I don't have to return and reorder? And they gave me the $60 credit! For a discount business, I thought that was really great customer service.

  20. 40% off and free shipping today at Lands' End and LEC with Promotion Code DONNER and PIN 1585.

  21. Marc by Marc Jacobs is running a promo which began today for 70% off all shoes with code PRIVATE70. There's a very limited selection of sizes online right now but I was just at the NYC store and they appear to have every size in every shoe. Their prices are lower than a lot of JC shoes right now.

  22. No problem, CharlotteSometimes

Thanks for the LE code, FFM :)

Went to two malls today. Here's what I saw:
Ann Taylor - 40% entire purchase
Ann Taylor Loft - 40% regular price items, 50% off sale
    Gap/baby/kids - 40% off sale
Old Navy - TONS of promotions, including all sweaters $15 or less. Coats were marked 60%. Plus 30% entire purchase with Friends & Family. The SAs at one store were telling everyone and handing out postcards. The other store was not publicizing the event at all and made me show my email for the discount.

That's all I remember off the top of my head.
