Cardmember Email: Bonus perk for Cardmembers: FREE SHIPPING on your next order

"Thanks!" to Jaime, who shared some news about an email sent to J.Crew credit card holders.

J.Crew is sending select cardholders a unique promotional code for free shipping (any order! no minimum!). Just make sure you use your J.Crew card as payment. This offer expires August 2, 2011.

It looks like J.Crew is really stepping up their efforts to reward their card members. Even though I am not one, I like what I am seeing. Way to go J.Crew!

So if you are a card member, *check* your mail to see if you got this email! :)

  1. What is this "select" cardholders? I don't have a JCrew charge, but seriously, the company chooses who to give perks to? Sorry, but that is lame.

  2. i've got to agree with pathos... pretty lame... i've had a jcrew card for years now and never have i ever been one of those select few to get a special "perk"... not an email or in a catalogue or when you sign into your account.... never!

  3. OK, that does it. Grumpy, sardonic WFF is back. Hard to maintain attitude of cheer and good will when you're told your money isn't fancy enough. Look again, Dear Leader, the Ben Franklins in your magic wallet ain't wearin sequins either.

  4. I'm a cardholder, but I didn't get this e-mail. I'm with wellfedfred on the frustration over not being "select."

  5. I'm a cardholder and didn't get this e-mail either. Lame! First they picked select customers for offers and now they are picking select cardholders for offers? Come on. . .stop being so stingy! Share the discounts with everyone . . .like basically all other stores do!!

  6. I am a cardholder. I did not get this email. I am not buying anything though from J.Crew right now. I have PLENTY of summer clothes!

  7. I'm a card holder and nothing for me again. I've spent plenty, especially lately too. Ugh. I'm starting to wish I would have opened another card with another retailer instead with better rewards :( I want a shirt too right now but the shipping is holding me back.

    Ok, vent over...:)

  8. I absolutely abhor this "exclusivity" game J Crew's playing. Make it fair and square- based on tiers of spending ( I know I'd over-qualify), so there is not a sour taste in a mouth of many of us every time these types of promotions come up. In a past I got so upset I wrote directly to MD, I'd get a call from his assistant with apologies, the promo would be offered to me and then not 3 months later- boom! back to abyss. I haven't gotten any promos for awhile. I am with WFF- thank you , dear JC, you are not seeing my sequins for awhile.

  9. It's just bizarre that J.Crew makes some of the perks exclusive, whether for cardholders or not.

  10. Honestly I think this goes out to those that don't make regular purchases. I am sure I have spent enough to make them confident that I will continue to shop...

I would like a catalog though!!!! I'm on to request #5....still counting the days.

  11. I'm also a JC cardholder and didn't receive this email. If it hadn't been your blog I wouldn't have known I was left out.
I'm also fed up with the exclusivity game JC thinks they are smart sending out. All it does is create mistrust and angst amongst the loyal customers.
I'm a BR luxe cardholder and I've been receiving free shipping in any order and they've been sending me 30-40% off full price items pretty much every week!
