Seek & Find: Will you visit J.Crew this Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopping by a J.Crew store this weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SPRING sale, or to see some new SUMMER arrivals {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

P.S. I noticed that many of you have already been reporting sale items (and in which stores) in other posts which by the way "thank you!" :) I really appreciate how helpful we are for each other!

  4. Really tempted to order the maxi check shirt in blue since it's still magically in my cart after two days! I really wish the local stores had my size in stock so I wouldn't have to pay (*&#$# shipping, LOL.

Might check out the Easton store, but I was just there last weekend so I'm not sure what would really be new in their sale area. I should prolly make an effort today to wear the sequin tank I bought from there last week!

  5. Need to run in to make a few returns (novo stripe top is HUGE) tomorrow. Will report back on in-store sightings.

Wearing Indian Voile boy shirt in strawberry today - love!

  6. Going to make returns. I will take a quick look around, but not expecting to make any purchases.

  7. I always wait too lingo post reviews but here goes:

Buy the weekend dress! Ordered the 8- fits on top but a wee snug on the bottom (I am a 10 in bottoms) if you are straight, you can size down in this one. It is so worth the $39 price for a dress you will wear all summer long! A bit on the shorter side. (I'm 5'7" I'm hoping the 10 will be perfect for me).

Cotton blousanna top: love this! Going to go down to an 8 though. The picturesque pink is a little sheer. I'm going to get the black in an 8 and will love the lightweight fabric for summer. There's a lot of room in the sleeves on this one unlike some of the other dress shirts jcrew has.

  8. I don't think I have time to go unless there is an additional % off in stores.

  9. No JC for me. I'll be stopping by Talbots for a slouchy tee since everything is 30% off.

Also received an email with Jenna's Madewell pick and FREE SHIPPING on Madewell orders of $100+ with code GOFORIT

  12. I scored the maxi check perfect shirt in blue! Even though I called the Easton store for a check two days ago, they either couldn't find it or I was the beneficiary of a return. AND they honored the lower online price. SCORE!

Unfortunately nothing much stood out to me in the sale section, but I did notice the Dorrie skirt in toffee was marked down.

I also saw a double rainbow this evening, so I'm extra excited, LOL.

  13. Nicole, congratulations in getting the shirt! I love when you go to a store and your most coveted item is just tgere waiting for you, it's shopping serendipity.
Ok, so I went quickly yesterday to Rock Center to get the Bahia hobo (on sale in store for $39.99) and I saw the Edie purse. It also comes in a tan color. It is kind of small and the leather gets easily scratched. Not sure if it's worth the price other than for the clean lines. Red color is a true red.

  14. Chicago had Premium cotton suiting (in the light khaki color) on sale. Skirt was $60 and jacket down to $98. Didn't look at pants. Doree skirt in 00-2 marked down. Jenny dress (how weird that this is sized 0-12 instead of s-l?).

Cashmere sweaters were markeddown to $79. And the striped sweater (dont know name) thatcame in navy stripe and that rust-color strip was marked down to $39 I think. Also the lightweight sweaters with the buttons at the shoulder - marked down but only had L and Xl hanging around.

Still tons of marked down dresses that no-one is buying. There was a light grey lace skirt that was cute but only had the 00-4 sizes.

    Happy weekend everyone :)

I'm looking for store reports to help me decide to drive in or call! Thanks for posting, also about suiting!! as I am always looking for sale suiting :->

  18. Ema...Thanks again for your help with the Tulip Cami. Great heads up on the Bahai hobo. Which color did you get? Definitely going to check the 5th Ave store tomorrow a.m. since I'll be in the neighborhood.Fingers crossed that they have them. It looks perfect for summer wear.

  19. Pansy, is there still 30 percent off, in your store, on sale items? i am interested in the Dorrie Skirt. Thank you, for any help!!!!

  20. Candace, you are welcome, I am happy that you got it. It was a hard decision but I got the natural one or whatever is called, I like the colored ribbons and it is more special than the black one IMO. They also had supercute friendship bracelets with small rhinestones in the jars on the table (they are pink, citron and black) for $18.50. I picked up two to offer to casual bday parties.

  21. Kudos to those whose stores still have the 30%, even if it's final sale. If Easton had had that plus if I'd been aware of the Bahia hobo at that awesome price, I totally would have gotten that too!

  22. @mrs anketell - yes, there is a 30% off sale items (but FS) as of this pm. HTH!

  24. Did any of you see the navy scarf with little white anchors all over it? So cute! I think it was around $55 at the B&M.

  25. Ema congrats on the Bahia Hobo! Has anyone else seen the natural color w the colored ribbons on sale in their B&M?

  26. @pathos

I was at the Michigan ave location.

  27. Was at Syracuse store but no 30% off. Bought the Super 120s suit in light khaki as I know they rarely go on sale, but would have been SO much better with an extra % off!

  28. does anyone know if the Dorrie Skirt runs tts? it seems as though (when i saw it in store a long time ago) it ran a big big...?? thanks, for any advice:)

  29. Hi Megan, I was in the Vegas store on Thursday and there was no extra % off sale. They had the silk henley top on sale but nothing much that was newer that I can recall. I saw some of the new items like the linen shirt in white and it was very long and see through. They also had some of the new dresses including the eyelet derby dress but only in white. I tried it on, not for me, took my usual JCrew dress size. It was a fit and flare style. I sized down in the Shelby to compare. Also they had the Jetty dress (it was called Sahara) in the blue, but it was a very flat color and not worth full price IMO. The had the Jessie dress in that bright blue, but the material did not feel like silk. I was rushed and did not try it or look closely. It was more of a slubby fabric, not silky if that makes sense.

  30. No % off at Old Orchard today.

  31. Shekster - thanks for the information on the Vegas store and reviews! It surely saved me a trip with the munchkins. Maybe between the both of us we can buy enough to convince them to stock the store with more? : )

  32. Ema, I picked up the Black one instead seemed more practical it is now my new everyday bag when running errands and just need something to hold basic necessities. Picked up the Rattan clutch in natural at 20% off. Couldn't wait until it goes on sale and risk missing it.Also picked up a mini hair clip in tortoise shell, I'm obsessed with the pattern and always check to see if there are any new items :)
Ruffles, the 5th Ave store in NYC had 1 in the natural color left as of Sunday a.m.
