J.Crew Reviews {straight from the JCAs!}

This is the weekly "J.Crew Reviews {straight from the JCAs}" post, to help each other share our reviews.

So if you have recently purchased, or stopped by a J.Crew store to try on an item (or two) from J.Crew, maybe you might be willing to share that information with us in this post.

Also, this request is not just limited to clothes. Please feel free to discuss bags, shoes, jewelry, accessories, etc.

In particular, if you could mention a few of the noteworthy details like fit, size, fabric, and the like— that would be fantastic! Thanks in advance! :)

  2. My three most recent catalog orders have resulted in disappointment due to color discrepancies (and yes, I've checked on a few different monitors).

    1. Patent-tab belt. Although all the items I've seen in the "Modern Red" have been orange, the patent-tab belt in that shade is, in fact, red! It's a dark, rusty red and is kind of a pretty color, but not what I was expecting.

    2. Stripe snap tee. I really like my perfect-fit striped snap tee in the autumn blaze (orange) and will keep it, but the background color is darker than depicted--more of a light beige than a white or ivory.

  3. Some reviews (and unfortunate complaints) of J Crew Factory here:

  4. egyptomaniac, The educator discount applies to full-price items only. It's too bad that none of those salespeople knew that, or they could have saved all of you the time and effort. Sorry you had such bad customer service experiences at the Crewlet on your vacation! Really shocking attitude from those salespeople.

    ReplyDelete
  5. sthnshopper- actually because it was a Factory store, the educator discount applies to full-price and full-price on promo (basically anything not on clearance).I had purchased items that were still full price (on promo), so I was fully entitled to the discount. And I'm glad the discount works that way at the Factory, because the whole women's section had a 40-50% promo going all week! I wish they did the same for Factory online.

  6. I received the eva flat sandals yesterday and they are unfortunately going back. I sized up the 7 as per direction and they are HUGE and my feet slide around in them and the laces won't hold them... and so on...

On a positive note, got the modern red linen shirt and love it! and the mirabel skirt was worth full price to me!

  8. part review/part complaint: the everyday chinos. :(

i already have them from years past and decided to get them this year in the fatigue color. now, i know the ones i have are a little worn in and stuff so i wasn't expecting an exact fit match but this was really bad. the width of the leg pant was narrower on the new pant by a few inches! if i lay them flat on the bed, the width of my old pants (at the cuff) is 10" and the new one is only 8". and the website says "straight leg" but these pants taper in the leg. i really thought these were a slam dunk for be considering i already own them, but they're going back. i seriously feel like they sent me the wrong pants. (sigh)

  9. This is probably kind of late but I finally got around to posting an IRL photo of the liquid rib cardigan (pops back on occasion) and the side-tie striped tee (now on sale) on my blog - see here. I also posted a couple of photos of some older J. Crew items in my closet in the same post.

I finally got the fineline cami in the mail yesterday, and it is great, I am really pleased with it. I ordered my usual size in brilliant blue. The sizing is quite generous so it is a little loose on me, but since this colour is sold out now, it's a keeper.

  10. Was at the JCrew outlet in Mebane NC yesterday. Great customer service. Super friendly sales staff and no issues getting my educator's discount applied to the promo items just not the sale/clearance section items. I was impressed with the store and the layout. Hubby found 2 very nice tee for $9 with tax! I came out with a sweater and a silk top and even daughter got some crewcuts.

  11. I tried on 2 pairs of jeans this weekend--the downtown skinnies in the dark rinse (not online) and the boot cut in classic rinse. Surprised how much I liked both. Glad I tried them on in person, as I think you will either like them or hate them depending on your own particular combination of thighs and hips. The downtown, I took my regular waist size, and I know the SA wanted me to size down as the waistband is wide (and stretches) but the upper jean is supposed to be slouchy. Again, I think it is a personal preference, as I like to have the top of my jean pulled down to a lower hip, but they still are fitted in the hip/thigh so they don't fall down. And the legs were skinny w/o being tight, which is what I wanted and would have changed had I sized down. The bootcuts I am keeping my eye on for the fall--these give the legs a long line, and were perfect in the hips, with a slightly longer rise so it felt more like a pant. The denim was also old school, with less stretch and thicker. Nice! (Long post, just glad I tried these on in-store as I would not have considered from online alone.)

  12. I got the Colette Dress and the Safari Belt which you can see on the blog at www.loveyourlifeandyourlooktoday.blogspot.com

    Both are thumbs up!!!

  13. I am very happy with a swimsuit order.
I ordered the Casbah one piece bandeau tank last week. Once i ordered It, JCrew said it would ship 7-5-11. I received it on Friday and it looks great! The fit is perfect and the pattern is so pretty and perfect for summer. The top is lightly padded and stays up great.

I had previously ordered the seersucker hipster bottoms and bikini top. I didn't care for the material too thin with no lining.

    ReplyDelete
  14. I purchased the summerlong sweater in the grey color. I think its really versatile and great for throwing on over denim shorts on a cool summer night. Its an open weave, so a little sheer, but I like that it can be worn over a colorful tank.

Its a little pricey at $59.99, but I used the 20% off coupon from the catalogue.

  16. I just wore my "saturday sweater" that I bought in a hurry as an afterthought during a big in-store markdown a while back. I thought it would be perfect--slouchy/casual but pulled together enough for a meeting. Finally had that sort of meeting and it proved just that--perfect. They still show up on sale and I highly recommend. Very roomy so I took the smaller of my 2 sizes and while still over sized it drapes beautifully.

  19. Has anyone tried the walkway shorts?

    ReplyDelete
  20. Got the Quorra high heeled oxfords and they are great. Very comfortable and lined in leather. Fit TTS to large. Love the tawny orange. Great shoe, especially at $83.
I also got the Langfords but they are going back. They are too narrow for my medium width feet and I do not like the lower vamp, although it may be exactly the reason some would like them for.

    ReplyDelete
  21. @ Louise: i have the liquid cardigan as well and love it! It's so soft!

    ReplyDelete
  22. ajc, glad to hear the Quorra shoes are nice. The mink are slowly making their way to me, maybe this week but likely not until next. I hope they aren't too large, my PS advised to up 1/2 size. The leather lining and sole was what enticed me to buy.

    ReplyDelete
  23. In light of the current promo, I have reviews and IRL photos of a few pairs of shorts on my blog. HTH someone.

    ReplyDelete
  24. @blakemdjohns: can u tell me where did u find the coupon code? I think I have the latest catalog through the mail. Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  25. ajc thank you for noting the Quorras are cut higher, I didn't notice that. I love the Langfords so much I bought every color. They were the shoe I wore the most last winter because they were like a pump and a boot. I could wear socks and my feet were warm. I've been debating the Quorras but need to look carefully since they may fit differently.

I tried the Wyatt Cone Heels and they are going back. The buckles dig into my foot but they are not too big, it's as if there's something scratchy on the inside. It could have been the pair I got. They fit TTS and they look okay but, IMHO look better online than IRL.

    ReplyDelete
  26. xoxo, the Quorras will probably be fine on you. I think J Crew shoes are usually narrower than average so I wear 8 in many brands but almost always 8.5 in J Crew. Once the cut is wider I could probably get away with 8 but I usually still buy 8.5 and they feel bigger to me. I wore them to the office on Friday and found them very comfortable. I am happy they are wider, as my feet tend to swell in the summer and leather lining is a must to wear barefoot.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Elizabeth, I can totally see the appeal of Langfords, I have been waiting for them to go on sale and I thought I would love the lower vamp. The Quorras do fit differently. I think you might still like them because of the comfort factor and in tawny orange they look almost nude, so the high vamp is not a problem.
They have crossover appeal too as they are between the traditional Oxford and a sandal becasue of the perforations. Btw, the toe area is lined with leather which is a nice touch so you don't have to worry about your pedi showing through.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Thanks ajc, do you see your foot through the rest of the shoe, sort of like a sandal? Or are the holes small enough so it's still like a shoe? The pedi coverage is a nice touch, especially if you're wearing a bright pink toenail polish and don't want it to distract.

    ReplyDelete
  29. ajc, I'm sure you are right. My feet are on the narrow side but I can slip an insole in if need be and better to have extra room than too tight. I love the idea of the xo cutouts - go figure!

    ReplyDelete
  30. egyptomaniac, Wow. I didn't know that. That's nice that you can get the educator discount on promo items at Factory stores!

    ReplyDelete
  31. Elizabeth, the holes are small so you cannot really see the skin in tawny orange but maybe in black you can? You still do get an extra ventilation.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Coupon was in the latest catalogue. The front said "surpise inside for you" and the coupon was around page 20, I think. 20% off any item through June 5.

    ReplyDelete
  33. blakemdjohns, is the summerlong sweater $59.99 in stores? It is $69.50 online and I am curious if it has already been marked down at the B&M. Usually items ending in .99 are sale items. TIA

    ReplyDelete
  34. I just received the Mirabel pencil skirt. I love it! Fit is TTS. Great texture!

    ReplyDelete
  35. I am going to try out the Jamie Peep Toe Booties because I love the sling back design and lower heel. I could actually walk in these. I paired them with a cool dress on my style blog.

Lately, I have had good luck with the pencil skirts, but, unfortunately, I have had to return a lot of clothing from recent orders.

I bought the Brooke bodice top on sale and it actually fit really well, but the construction was just terrible. Couldn't believe it was J. Crew because I have always appreciated the brand's high quality. I did keep the Hollywood waist pants from that order - really unusual and cool.

I hope J. Crew moves away from (1) sequins and (2) boxy tops (I don't care if they are 'in style' - they don't flatter most women).

  36. omg egyptomaniac! i'd be livid. you need to report your experience up the chain. there's just no excuse for that kind of behavior.

Genny, it's a great little store, isn't it? wonderful to go on a weekday, the whole place is basically deserted. but there sure isn't anything else around to see. i've only been once, but i got off the exit, went to the Crewlet and then got right back on the highway, lol.

gem_twin, i'm also a big fan of the Saturday sweaters, esp. on uber-sale! and i agree, they run huge.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Quorra High-heeled oxfords...

I own them in two colorways, size 9.5. I originally bought the mink, but was sent the tawny orange. Fell in love with the tawny orange (more like a tan with a bare hint of orange) and decided to order the mink again. LOL.

You can see them on me in this post (first pic):
    http://mysuperfluities.blogspot.com/2011/05/boden-weekly-review-rounduplots-of-irls.html

I think they run tts and were very comfortable for my all day excursion.

I anticipate that I can also wear these in the fall with trouser socks (you can't see the feet through the holes, they are pretty teeny).

Safe to say I am a fan.

  39. I tried a lot of things on at the J. Crew at the Domain in Austin last weekend. I ended up buying the Japan Love tee which I had had my eye on online but never pre-ordered. It's really cute but very, very thin and slouchy material. I got the medium even though the small or even XS would have fit because I thought it might look trashy if worn fitted because it is so see-through. I am not sure what I'll wear under it but it's definitely wearable as a real tee.

The other thing that I came closest to buying was a grey ruffle dress that I unfortunately cannot find online so I don't know what it's called. It actually reminded me of an Anthropologie chemise. Stretch top and several rows of ruffles, in jersey cotton. It was very comfortable and cute but the ruffles made it too bulky to wear as a cute sundress so I nixed it. If it had a slimmer line I might have gone for it.

I also tried on a selection of chino shorts but I haven't found J. Crew shorts to fit me so well, which is sad because their colors and look are so great. Instead I ended up buying a similar pair at Ann Taylor Loft that were so much more comfortable.

  40. More reviews for you!

Just reviewed the chambray stripe tee, peasant blouse and linen bermuda on my blog

  41. Does anyone have the Oralie cardigan and can comment on how it wears/holds up? I'm just curious since it's 100% poly. I saw sweaters that had been in store for ages, and they didn't look terribly shopworn. Then again, perhaps I should take the fact that these don't seem to be selling as a hint... :)

  42. Boho top in smoky rose - Very beautiful top IRL! I went with the 00 and the length of the top is great but it is a little big in the arm hole area. I liked the embroidery and top is not that see-through! yay!

Marquette flats - LOVE these flats! The embellishment is beautiful and really make the shoe! I took a 7 1/2 and they fit well - snug but I wouldn't size up or they would be too big. Color is orangy brown.

Maribelle shorts - ordered a 0 as I have other pairs of crew shorts in this size from past years that fit but these seem to run smaller than in the past. going to have to size up on these. if the 2's work, i'll probably keep 'em. The embroidery for these shorts is very nice as well.

Femme bathing suit - Very disappointed in this bathing suit! Fit overall was good but the lack of padding in the bust area is the whole reason I am returning it.

I also ordered the Casbah one-piece tank but have not yet received it - should be delivered tomorrow. My PS searched and found one for me in a CA store! She also told me that if an item is not in the stores when doing a search they will put it on a list that they watch daily for up to 30 days in case it does pop back! If anyone is looking for a good PS, Stephanie Hooper is amazing!!

  43. Em in espana, did you take the Boho top in your usual size or did you size down? I think that top is very pretty and would love to get one.

  44. Delilah Pencil Skirt: I bought this a month ago before it was marked down to $39.99. It is easily my favorite purchase this year. I'm not a very curvy gal and this skirt give the illusion of curvy hips. I received soo many compliments on this skirt. I would steer clear if one is curvy, but it fits me perfectly.

The Miki Dress: OK, I'm a size four. I bought the dress in a size 6. You'd think I'd purchased a 12 with the way it fit me. It did not appear boxy on the model, but it was indeed boxy on my frame. I really liked the fabric though.

Seersucker Pencil Skirt: Fit me perfectly. The length is perfect - some of the pencil skirts are a bit long and I'm a tall girl. This one hit me right at the top of my knee... I am also a fan of the exposed zipper. I know many are not. However, I am waiting for the price to drop to about $80. Probably sold out by that time..LOL

    ReplyDelete
  45. Shortcut sweater - will be getting this in the in-store navy. Size down. It has a nice weight, which will be a little much here in July and August, but perfect for spring and summer. Very classic, IMO.

Chambray tuxedo cami - wasn't sure about this one but decided to try it on anyway. I really like it and I love the pockets! I wore this today with a cardi. Very comfy, and it comes with bra straps to hold in place (which for me, also helps hold the cami straps in place! :D). Size down.

Downtown skinny jeans in the darker wash were finally marked down to 29.99 and my ps found my size in the back - yay! I hope they're not doing away with this style of jeans as I love them.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Just received the vintage cotton cowl neck tank (item 40887) in modern red today. Modern red is actually orange in real life. I ordered my usual size small but this top runs very generous and quite long - on me, it hits at the top of my thigh. Otherwise, it's really nice, and I plan on pairing it witeh my khakis and my Trouper pants. Sadly the XS is sold out now, otherwise I would trade it in for the smaller size.

    ReplyDelete
  47. The very thin straps of my Wilder dress snapped yesterday, while I was very far from home wearing it. Thankfully I had a cardigan in the car and so melted for the rest of the hot day wearing the cardigan. I can try to fix it, sew it back on, but the straps are so thin, it will probably fall apart again ... I am very annoyed.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Just received an adorable pair of shoes from JC Factory store - the solid ballet flats in dusty shale. The colour is so unique and pretty, like a minty sage. But they are not comfy. As a heels gal, I thought flats were supposed to be comfy?! Bah, not these. They pinch the top of my toes. But I'm keeping them - the colour is just so cute. I took my normal shoes size so I guess these are TTS, albeit with no room to spare.

    ReplyDelete
  49. @ Louise: I haven't bought a size Small in J Crew t-shirts for months now, have been buying XS -- which is ridic, because I can't fit into an XS at other stores like Anthro or Zara.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Found the Mirabel dress in Muslin Poppy at my b&m. It was an online return. It is so pretty. I usually don't pay that much for one item, but after reading the "one that got away" post, I felt like this would be that one for me. This one was a size down from what I typically wear, but it worked for me. (I have small bust/large hips.) It really brightened my otherwise dreary day.

    ReplyDelete
  51. I can't see where to submit questions, but I'm wondering --- have you heard more about the Madewell store looking in san francisco? I've heard rumblings that its happening in July but can't find any details!

  53. The Good:

Cashmere long-sleeve tee in purple thistle and pond water - AMAZING COLORS. I have a few of these sweaters and they fit TTS. Both of these colors are bright, but not in a crazy way :) LOVE!

No. 2 pencil skirt in double-serge cotton in smokey graphite - Fits TTS. I wore it today and it did wrinkle a bit, but nothing too bad. I really love this color, super light grey.

V-neck tee neon pink (item # 42851)- I was not expecting much from this tee, but I really loved it. It is much thicker than I expected and is really flattering. Fits TTS and will be a fun summer lounge shirt.

    The Indifferent:

Cashmere V-neck henley in sunwashed pink - I like this sweater, but the color was awful on me. It washed me out and I even have a little color to me. It had to be returned.

    The BAD:

Jackie cardigan in breeze - I ordered the medium because I thought the smalls were almost too small on me. The medium was huge. I also got the matching shell, but it was too short. I returned both.

Lorelei beach dress in embossed silk and cotton in wave crest - This was by far the worst item in my shipment. It was really thin, so you would near to wear either pasties or a strapless bra. I tried the strapless bra, but it still looked absolutely horrible on me. It was all around a bad purchase. Not flattering at all. It made the skin near my armpits look extra fat. Oh well.

  54. Posted pics of the heathered playa skiry in indigo stripe. Fantastic skirt, highly recommended. I took my usual 0 but sits on the waist and not hips (if you want it longer size up).

  55. Elaine,

Yes, there is not much in Mebane to see or even eat! Ha ha. We had to drive a ways back into Durham for food!

I went into Talbots which is considered one of their premium outlets and got a soem deals as well but only JCrew and Talbots for me there! I got the Coralie cami for $20 in a pretty purple color. Missed it last summer.

Husband bought a ton from various stores though.

I want to go to Smithfield. Never been but the J.Crew is set for around an August opening. I also really want to go to the Bath and Body Works outlet there.

Mebane is nice but it needs a few more stores I think.

  56. Received the Stretch elan 120's cropped pants. Excellent construction and great lightweight fabric. My sizing is a little wonky post pregnancy so I ordered my normal prepregnancy size and a size smaller. Both fit with the larger size sitting a bit lower on the hips.

Sadly there were a pass for me as the pleats didn't lay flat which irked me. My DH kindly said that they made my butt look flat but unfortunately I don't think that it is the pants but rather my dear daughter :).

  57. Maryeb: yes, I took the boho top in my normal size. I didn't need to size down. HTH!

  58. Math teacher- can you tell me the color code or sku for the Downtown Skinnies which are marked down to $29.99? I just bought them in a dark rinse for $108 and wonder if they are the same. My tag says style# 45265 and color DDA. Thanks for your help! KT

    ReplyDelete
  59. I just found the Tisbury Bucket Bag (in Bermuda Clay) at my local b&m yesterday for $12.99. While, I wouldn't really want to pay much more than that for it (no lining), I like it. It's pretty roomy and seems to stand up to all I've thrown in there today. I wanted a summery cross body bag, and this is perfect. The straps are wide enough to not be painful. My only question is that on the tag, it says "Trim: 100% Leather." This bag is only straw. There is no leather anywhere. I thought that was odd.

  60. Is everyone buying the Rumi dress? FYI, there's a periwinkle purple color in stores that isn't available online.

Dress runs big. FYI. I ordered my vanity size (8) and it'll arrive tomorrow. Will post reveiw after wearing it, but so far I'm excited.

  61. Quite disappointed with the Mulberry Leaf Pearl Mix necklace. IRL here!

  62. Just received my $39 canvas schoolboy blazer. Think it was appgal who posted it had popped back? Can't remember...but THANK YOU for posting. I jumped on it. It shipped! And I LOVE it. It is bigger than my normal JCrew size but I'll just leave it hanging open and it will work.

    ReplyDelete
  63. pathos, I would post the numbers but I'm not at home and don't have the jeans with me. I'll be home tomorrow afternoon and can post then if that's not too late.

    ReplyDelete
  64. I have to say that my broken-in boyfriend shorts are my uniform for the summer (with shirts of course! :). I normally wear a 28/6 in jeans and skirts, but I easily take a 4 in these shorts. They are soooo comfortable! Love them! (sidenote - I will say my bf doesn't like them because they aren't tight in the rear - too bad for him!)

Also love my dusty cedar suede Collins that I got for something like $55 on promo. I go between 8.5 and 9 in shoes, and these fit perfectly in 9.

Dislike: canteen pants - sized down to 4 in these and they still sit weirdly on my hips/thighs. I've seen other rave reviews so I'm guessing it just has to do with body type.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Can anyone comment on the sizing of the Sardinia wedge espadrilles? Wanting to order a pair but sizing on J crew shoes has been hit and miss for me.

    ReplyDelete
  66. I just got a big order in the mail today. It took forever! First, I got the black & white striped dress w/the spaghetti straps. LOVE IT! I got it in a 10 and I'd say it fits TTS. It falls to just above the knee on me and I'm 5'4". I think it's very flattering. I have 2 events that I know of that I plan on wearing it to. It's sold out in my store. I got the Loretta wood sandals. Going back. Fit is TTS, but they were higher than they looked in the catalog and felt like they were cutting into the top of my toes. Also, I thought the straps were a true black, but they're a canvas charcoal black color. Too bad. I got the Suede Collins in a sz. 8 in the beige color. Those are going back too, even at $55. They are sky high, but fairly comfortable considering. But I didn't love the color and they're too similar to the Alescia sandals I have from last summer. Finally, I got the Elsa jacket. I'm debating this one. It's really cute and looks very flattering. I'd say it runs TTS, to a tad small, but I actually think I need to size down from the size I ordered. That's all!

    ReplyDelete
  67. I got my dusty cedar suede Collins tonight and the color practically took my breath away, it's far more beautiful than I expected. There were like 3 or 4 different dusty cedar suedes on J Crew's web site and they all looked different, IRL it's closest to the Collins image except more rosy. The fit is as expected, I usually wear a 6.5 in non-J Crew shoes and the 6.5 Collins fits perfectly. The upper strap going over the top of my foot is a little snug as it is with my other Collins.

I also got the Factory stripe zip cardigan in navy stripe. I usually take an XL in J Crew cardigans, I like to be able to button them without gaping. This one is oversized, usually an XL is 40" and this one is 42". I'm going to swap it for an L. Other than the sizing I'm very pleased, the knit is very smooth and lightweight but not sheer, and the colors are nice (the navy is super dark, almost black). The workmanship is excellent, the stripes match at the zipper, pockets and sides.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Jruby18, I also had sent my aged driftwood suede Collins back, it was a nice color but just didn't look right on me. Not sure why you didn't like it but in my case with my pale skin it just did nothing for my feet and legs. IMO the color would look great on someone who has a lot of pigment, or a good spray tan. :)

    ReplyDelete
  69. Oh crap, if only I'd looked at the size charts. The XL is stated as being a 42" bust. Did this just change recently??? My Jenna's cardigans which I just bought this past month are XLs but are 40". Very confusing.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Seriously, What is up with JCrew dresses and skirts; they are all so short! I used to buy tons each season.

Unless you are 5'4" and under most won't work unless you want to wear a mini!

J.Crew get your act together please. Luckily, I have found other sources for summer dresses and skirts I just miss getting them from J.Crew!

  72. I bought the Caravan linen pants in 2P, and wore them right out of the box for a weekend trip away. They are so comfy, almost like jammies but just polished enough to wear out and about. The leg is straight fitting - not too tight nor too full, and the fabric is soft yet substantial. I like the drawstring waist because it eliminates waist-gapping issues which I tend to have with pants. These pants are unlined, which was not an issue in navy, not sure about the lighter colors.

  73. pathos, the style # is 31477 and the color code is PBW. Doesn't sound like the same jean. I didn't realize they had a new pair of downtown skinnies in the store - I'll have to look next time I'm there b/c I LOVE them (maybe more than the toothpick, although the toothpick are a better length for short me :D).

  74. The Delaney Eyelet skirt: it has an elastic waistband and I would say it runs TTS albeit short. I ordered a 00 (5'1", 105lbs) and it hits me two inches above the knee. This is a piece that looks better in person.

Personally I love jcrew skirts and minis. I couldn't wear them to work but that's what pencil skirts are for!

I received the bi-stretch wool minnie today. Very flattering and comfortable. Even better than its twill counterpart since it doesn't get as linty. jcrew, please keep making minnie pants and jenna cardigans!

Also bought the garden skirt in green and soiree skirt in aged pearl at the store. Those are definitely work appropriate.

  75. Love my Horizon Stripe Pencil Skirt. The cotton material reminds me a bit of linen, but is substantial enough that it will not wrinkle half as much.

  76. @Susan, thank you so much! I ended up getting a size 2- which I really hope will fit. I'm a 00 usually (in J. Crew pencil skirts) but I'm 5'6'' 112 pounds. I think/HOPE the 2 will fit perfect. Glad its an elastic waistband :) Thanks again!

  78. High tide tunic dress: Tried it. Too short for business casual on these long legs The slits on the sides were a deal breaker. It is very cute though.

Mixed Stitch Cardigan. I bought the white one. I like the lean fit and never would have given it a second look based on the online photo. I can definitely "Chanel" this up. ($29)

I bought some weird grasshopper pin...I don't know why, but I like it.

  79. Mossy oak Collins came today! They are so pretty! The leeather is definitely green, but against my olive skin it acts like a neutral I want to sleep with them in my bed. Please don't pass judgement since I actually might. :) My only concern now is how to take care of the suede. Suggestions?
