J.Crew Email: More new arrivals, in stores and online (plus, FREE SHIPPING)

"Thanks!" to many of you, including IRL, who shared the following email from J.Crew this morning.

J.Crew is featuring their Motorcycle Zip Cardigan (Item 38070; $88.00) which they lovingly describe as: "We gave an everyday cotton beach sweater some easy-rider edge with motorcycle-inspired zipper detailing". It's an interesting cardigan, but not super versatile.

On a more interesting note, this email implies that brick & mortar stores received additional new arrivals. Also, Closet Crisis (in this post) mentioned that there are some new items in the new arrivals section online. {wahoo!} If that is the case, I will be making a shopping trip to my local J.Crew store this weekend!

What are your thoughts on the Motorcycle Zip Cardigan? Does it work? Does your local B&M have more new arrivals out? If so, please share! :)

  1. Woohoo! More stripes! LOL, no seriously- I like me some stripes.

I don't know if the Evelyn dotted long dress is new, but it's lovely. I wish I had a reason to own it.

  3. As I mentioned in the previous post, I really like the Katie Colorblock Cami (in Orchid Blue) and the Cecilia Dress, although the *Blood Orange* color in the model pic doesn't appear to even be available right now. Also want to mention that the Vineyard Pencil Skirt is online now for those who were interested in getting it, and the Liberty Bouquet Shirtdress is back online in size 00 and 8. :)

  4. I picked up both the embroidered art tank #38231 and the vintage foil print tank #39181. I would recommend sizing one down on both of these- they run big. Cute pieces though and not sheer at all.

I think I might spring for the Linea shift dress in orange. Hoping it's not too short!

  5. Someone asked a while ago (Lexi?) about a sweater shown in a model shot. It was the model wearing the green boardwalk cargo shorts and the gold sweater. I think it's the Sabrina Slub Cardigan. It finally showed up in the new arrivals section.

  8. Hi! I'm new around here, and I don't know if anyone else has been keeping track of this, but for what it's worth, a lot of suit dresses are back in size 14. Allura in super 120s and superfine cotton, workday dress and boardroom dress in superfine cotton. Not sure if that's totally new, but I've been wishing for 14s for a while, especially in that tuxedo super 120s from last year.

  9. As I posted on PV....

Take a look at the Collection windowpane trench... the jacket has two broken buttons.. C'Mon Crew, you can't proof your work or are we so addicted we'd buy it anyway :)

Cecelia dress is modeled in blood orange - yet you can only buy it it in black/white...

    Drives me crazy sometimes ;)

  10. I am madly in love with the Gingham trench coat, but alas not the price. For now I will admire it from my computer screen, but if I win the lottery this weekend it will be mine.

  11. Do you need to go to a prom? And you want to buy a beautiful prom dress but only to find all of these in the shops are too expensive. So come to have a look on . You will not be disappointed.
