Madewell Email: What the coolest girls in our office love (+ free shipping)

"Thanks!" to many of you, including Ketan, who shared the following email from Madewell this morning.

They are promoting their segment "Looks we Love" where employees of Madewell show off their style (click here to view online).

Madewell is also offering free shipping (on $100+) with promo code GOFORIT. This offer is for a limited time.

What are your thoughts on the "Looks we Love" feature? Are there any Madewell items you are interested in?

  1. Lusting after the Madewell canvas sidewalk wedges. Chatted w/rep who said heel height is 3.5" with .75" wedge, so (calculating platform math) really, a heel height of 2 3/4 inches = pretty walkable.

Loving a bunch of their stuff, but maybe it's really the styling I'm falling for? I have many similar pieces from JC, but somehow the Madewell styling just oozes more "hipster" than JC's, even on Linda, their 62-yr old muse! Anyone else get that vibe?

  3. I have the high riser jeans and the spring picnic shirt and I absolutely love them both. Am thinking of getting some of the cardigans/shorts/shoes/tees LOL, I love madewell!

  4. I did get the Cadet Cardigan in stripes, and wanted to report that it is not a true navy/white colorway. The white is more beige/taupe and the blue a faded navy. The size small fits perfectly; I usually take smalls in JCrew sweaters. It hits at the waistband of jeans (I'm 5'5".) Deciding whether to keep or not b/c of the coloring. HTH someone!

  6. So disappointed to see that Madewell has now adapted the FINAL SALE ridiculousness.

  7. That is very disappointing. They have 20 stores nationwide! Odds are, most of their customers are not going to be able to try on before buying.
