Sought & Found: Did you visit J.Crew this {past} Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopped by a J.Crew store this past weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the HOLIDAY sale, or to see some new SPRING arrivals {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store was/ is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

  1. I did, and would like to say that I really love the colors of this year's Featherweight cashmere cardigan. The fit is definitely a little loose (but I am a fairly small person), but the sweater is nice and light and would probably be fine for early spring. The orchid and light green are both particularly beautiful.

  2. Minnetonka fringed low moccasins for 29.99 minus 40% off in NYC!

  3. I visited the local Crewlet, and the store was pretty bare, but I did find a Jackie and a wool skirt in the sale section (which was an additional 30% off).

  5. Ali, I agree on the colors. Love the heathered yellow.
If anyone makes it to a store today could you report if they are still running a % off promo and it it's still fs? TIA!

  6. Julie Y - lol

I made a few returns. I did get and overpay, unfortunately, for the merino strata ruffle cardigan in mint. I ignored it online all this time, so I didn't recognize it in-store. Paid $40 and it was $34.99 online before 40%. Oh well.

New arrivals are coming this Wed. I won't make a special trip, but will try on & share when I make my next round of returns.

  7. I took advantage of the 40% off on Friday and then was away all weekend. Was surprised to see over 150 comments here about the great deals and restock that I missed but there wasn't anything I really wanted and I am strangely not as interested lately. Maybe the new arrivals will pique my interst.

  8. Ema, I was at my local B&M (Chicago suburb) and it appears the extra % off sale is over. My store had very little merchandise (sale or new). I was just in to make online returns so I didn't look around much but all the signs indicating 40% (or 30%) off were gone. I did see the new candy plaid shirt and the green one is adorable. Looks like regular perfect shirt sizing; did not have time to try it on.

  9. Stopped by B&M (Cherry Creek in Denver) to make a slew of returns. Still 40% off sale (final sale) but everything was really picked over. Tried on a few new spring arrivals, but they didn't have everything I was hoping for. Nothing I truly loved either, so made my "wishlist in my head" even smaller.

  10. I placed my MUSTHAVE order then went to the store. Boston had a huge sale section with cords, shirts, ballet flats, some coats, sweaters, and lots of scarves.

I was tempted to get another Chalet sweater but resisted. My closet is already overflowing with J Crew sweaters! I just do not need any more winter items.

  11. I scored the Moonbeam Sequin Jacket for $149.00. The best part is I called to put on hold and when i picked it up the sales associate who took my call was suprised to find out it was on sale for $249 plus 40 % off she said..."if I had known this was on sale when you called I would have taken it for myself" Really???? LOL!!

  12. OK, now I'm confused. Went to a different B&M today and it's still 40% off sale. Signs up everywhere in the back of the store. So maybe it depends on the store? Saw very few new arrivals: a new sweatshirt-styled top that was cute, but not $69.50 cute, a sequin striped short sleeve tee in two colors ($59.00, I think) and the lovely candy plaid perfect shirts and pretty new colors of the Jackie cardigan that others have mentioned. This store had a lot more stock, both regular price and sale.
