Sought & Found: Did you visit J.Crew this {past} Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopped by a J.Crew store this past weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the FALL sale, or to see some new HOLIDAY arrivals {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store was/ is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

  1. I went to Pacific Place (Seattle) to make return, gift card in hand. Sale section was tees and sweaters, almost no pants, skirts, etc. I did see one pair of size 10 Lollis, though.

Otherwise, the store was full of new arrivals (nice not to see empty shelves) but they all seemed very basic--checked shirts, Jackies, etc. The featherweight cashmere cardis looked lovely but time will tell on those. Nothing special enough to pry my gift card from me.

  2. I popped in yesterday and tried on a few new arrivals. Pics of Shelby dress, Lace Dobby skirt, floral shorts and unnamed denim dress (site is down for me to check it there) posted today here.

  3. No purchases or visit for me these weekend! (unless it counts that I snagged some final sale pop backs I have been stalking!) :)

  7. I got an email this morning announcing new arrivals, but the new arrivals section for women seems to be down on the website. Did anyone else have this issue?

  9. I am psyched - just came back from Montgomery Mall, Columbia MD and found some perfect wardrobe-hole-fillers, like a big chunky slouchy dark cardigan (sideways cable sweater) and a Donegal schoolboy tweed blazer for around $70 after the 40%. I am pretty new to shopping J Crew but the sale section there seemed better than the one at Georgetown which I visited on Friday.

There was one Buffalo Plaid jacket in a small size (0? 2? XS or S?) I think... it had fleecy lining and I tried it on but the shoulders seemed like stiff 'puffed sleeves' at the shoulder tips. Maybe two or three arrow jackets, one pair of black sequin shorts size 2, one or a few of those asymmetrical plaid skirts, one size 10 blue Sunnie skirt. About 3 standing racks of random sale pants, maybe 1 rack worth of jackets/coats, tons of embellished tshirts and tanks, bling cardigans, a lot of grey sequinned sweatshirts.

  10. Oh almost forgot, one small (0 or 2?) boutonniere blazer, which I would have tried if it didn't seem too light grey and flannelly for my taste.

  11. Did some cross border shopping last week in the Seattle area.
Wednesday - Visited the Crewlet at the Premium Outlet Mall, very picked over but I scored a Paisley Flouncette blouse for $17 (taxes incl)! and my friend scored a few jewelry pieces (like the factory Corona necklace - I've seen the retail version, and the the factory version is much lower quality but I didn't wanna burst her bubble)
Thursday - Visited the Pacific Place retail shop, sale section is quite picked over, lots of tees and a few skirts and blazers in 10s and 12s. There were piles of Dulphine Bling Button Cardis marked down to $19.99. Feels like the Dolce knits from last year. Saw the Bonfire cardigan, surprised at how thick and bulky it is, no likey. Like Hexicon mentioned, lots of new arrivals but nothing enticing enough for me to line up to try on.
