ENDS TODAY. 25% OFF ALL women's and men's sweaters (plus, FREE SHIPPING)

Today is the last day that J.Crew is offering their online & in-store customers 25% off select regular priced sweaters for women (click here to shop online) & men (click here to shop online).

This was not the most exciting Cyber Monday deal that was going around. However, it sounds like some of you picked up one or two needed winter staples with this promo. :)

They are also offering free shipping on orders of $150+ with promo code SHIP150. This offer expires Monday, December 20, 2010.

Will you be checking out J.Crew's sweater section? What pieces are you interested in getting? Please share! :)

  1. Still nothing for me. The lack of decent promotions at J.Crew so far this holiday season has been a real shopping deterrent for me. Too bad they didn't include sale sweaters in this promo. I might have considered taking advantage of it then.

  2. I agree with FFM - the promos have been lame, at best. There are new sweaters online today that are included with the promo, but nothing I'm really interested in, and I believe most of these will go for lower than the current promo eventually.

  3. I almost bit but the sweater I wanted sold out from my cart because I was too busy trying to add enough to get the $100 min for free shipping. Boy that stinks! I should be waiting for a % off sale anyway. Instead I went ahead & decided to try the full price Novella Capelet from Madewell. It's relatively inexpensive so I'm expecting it's going to be thin, or poorly made, or ill-fitting... (I don't get my hopes up anymore.) I had to add a tee to get free shipping there as well. I need another tee like I need a hole in my head.

  4. Here's my big conspiracy theory...is Dear Leader purposely trying to keep sales stagnant to insure a lower buyout price?

  5. I am going to go to the B&M today to see if I can find an Infinity sweater in Dark Pine for my daughter (so that I don't have to add temptation to my online cart to meet the free shipping minimum!), but if they don't have it, I will place an order ...thinking of adding the lace tee to my cart. I saw a woman wearing one yesterday with jeans, a black blazer and multiple strings of pearls.....very cute!I am also thinking of oerdering the Jackie in Henna....has anyone seen this color IRL...is it a red or more orangey? Hard to tell from the picture online!

  6. I could not resist the mens's fair isle cardigan. I bought it in size small for myself. It looks incredibly cozy, I plan to wear it layered as a jacket or over pyjamas as a shortie robe on cool winter mornings. I thought the women's fair isle sweater was cute too but the acrylic blend totally turns me off.

  11. FFM and others,

I think the real shopping deterant for me is the new return policy. I like Talbots 90 days. I honestly work for a living and have a family to care for and getting to the mall once every 60 days can be a feat in and of itself! 90 days I can easily do and feel more comfortable with....

  12. silver lining,

Thanks for the catalog tip. Going to look now. I don't check JCrew daily like I used to; only about once a week now so good to know:)

  13. @xoxo: I've been eyeballing the Men's sweaters too! What size do you usually take for women's wear? The cotton cashmere hoodie is calling my name...BTW, the sweater you ordered contains polyamide (according to the online description). Please report back in the reviews post and let us know how the quality holds up. :)

  14. TXMom: I have the jackie in henna and it's definitely not what I would call a true red, more of a rust.

  15. Ffm- at my store they include the sale sweaters in the discount. Maybe pop in b&m and try on the red phone if there is anything specific?

  16. The SA's at my B&M also mentioned that sale sweaters were eligibile for an additional 25% off.

PS - The lace rows tank (34026)has been marked down in-store to $69.99.

  17. jcrewlove and silver_lining: Thanks for the information about the promo applying to sale sweaters. I don't have time to make a trip to the mall today, so I guess I'll just wait for further markdowns. :)

  18. Closet Crisis, I take size 8-10 in women's tops and coats. I have tried the mens knit tops in size XS but they feel tight in the bust, the size S fits me better. I'm on the tall side so the extra length of the menswear is usually a good thing. The men's fair isle sweater may be a bit baggy on the bottom but I'm not going for a tailored look anyway. My PS warned me that it was 25% polyamide so I'll see how it feels and wears. Hopefully the polyamide will help it keep its shape. Sure beats the women's version in acrylic/wool/mohair. I will definitely report back.

  19. Megan, thanks fo the feedback on the henna Jackie! I figured with a color name like "henna" it probably wasn't a true red....may order it anyway to at least see it!

  20. txmom - Gigi has IRL pics of the henna jackie on her blog. I think she just did a post for the promo that linked to them. HTH! :)

  21. @xoxo: thanks so much for the info! Think I'll try out a men's top or 2 when I make the trek to a B&M later this month. :)
