Seek & Find: Will you visit J.Crew this Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopping by a J.Crew store this weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the RESORT & early SPRING sale, or to see some new SPRING arrivals {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

P.S. I noticed that many of you have already been reporting sale items (and in which stores) in other posts which by the way "thank you!" :) I really appreciate how helpful we are for each other!

  2. I love J Crew's pants, ordered the Safari pants and another pair of the Vintage Matchstick jeans in the broken wash. It is nice to see the fs on this promo.

  3. Nothing for me this weekend, and I mean NOTHING. I'm deliriously happy with the FS tees that arrived yesterday, so I need to work those out before I buy anything else. Other than a few of the spring items I'm eyeing (which, of course, I won't buy until they're marked down some more), I don't feel the need to get anything. :-)

  4. I was in the store last night to make some returns. The sale section was packed with various tees (mainly in sizes M-XL), cargo pants, Sullivan skirts, Contrast Pencil skirts, Palmera camis, as well as the other usual suspects. I didn't get anything but a tee for my son that was $9.99 in the store, but is still $19.99 on the website.

  9. I was there few days ago and saw a bunch of tees ranging from $14.99 - $29.99. Painted scout chinos, cargo pants, vintage matchsticks, Palmera camis, some sweaters. It may be worth a trip if you haven't checked out the sale section lately.

    Happy Easter everyone!

  14. Does anyone recall seeing the Vintage Roadster boots on sale in-store? I'm looking for a 7.5 in black if anyone happens to come across them...I'd appreciate if you could tell me what store!

  15. Oh! And my store had some resuable totes. I'm kicking myself for not grabbing any!

One had a few girls on a bench, and I forget what the other one was

  16. NYC JCAs: did you hear there's an honest-to-goodness J.Crew opening on the UES? 66th & Madison. So it won't be just the Collection Store uptown anymore. I don't know exactly when it opens but sometime in early May is what I was told. Just though I'd pass the info along!

  17. I bought the jaipur linen skirt - love it! Finally a skirt that's not super short! :D I do wish it was washable, but I love it enough to deal with it. I also bought the vintage canvas bow top to wear with it (in muted grape).

The sale items are the normal sale stuff, most of which is also on sale online. I did see that the cognac and tan boyfriend shorts are 29.99, while the other colors are $10 off. Also, most of the tees are still $10 off.

The strapless dress that I tried on last time that I loved now also comes in pink. :D I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed!

I finally tried on the chiffon forget-me-not cardi and I LOVE it! I was so surprised. Again, I'm going to hope for a sale. Another surprise was that I tried it on with the tango top and I liked them together.

  18. Picked up the denim Minnie for $39.99 but was able to use the 10% in-store discount coupon Pamela mentioned. It's not even marked final sale -- how wonderful!

Also tried on the black blossom jacket - even the XS is HUGE. I asked the PS if J.Crew will come up with Size -1 soon... she laughed.

  20. Yes, I did. I bought 3 jackies, the jaipur perfect shirt and the honeyclover ruffled romance perfect shirt. The jaipur shirt wasn't even on my radar, but I tried it on at the recommendation of my PS and immediately loved it. I'm less sure about the honeyclover shirt, but I hope I can make it work as the print is very soft and pretty. I also tried several other shirts I liked online, but I didn't like them so much IRL.

  21. Math Teacher,

Could you give me some information on the Jaipur printed skirt? That sounds so pretty...I tried the tunic but it was too baggy on me. Is it A-line, pencil, or mini? About how long is it? Also, can you tell me where you purchased it?

    Thanks so much!

  22. Priya Cherry, first, I bought it in Charleston, SC, and they didn't have many left. I sized down. It has a thick elastic waist and no pockets. It's probably suppose to be a mini, but because of the elastic can be worn lower on the waist to lengthen the skirt. It is not a-line; it is a straight cut. It is 17" long with a pretty good size hem, if you want to make it a little longer. It is lined, and has a ribbon along the edge of the material on the hem (hope that makes sense). The official recepit name is jaipur paisley helena skirt, item number WA7780. Original price is $88. It is dry clean only. HTH

  24. Priya Cherry - good luck! I hope you find it. I think it's an adorable skirt.
