Madewell Email: It's sure to sell out...

"Thanks!" to HeidiG & Marietta, who shared the email Madewell sent Tuesday morning.

The email features the Perfect Chambray Shirt which is described as "so perfectly soft and broken in, you'll never want to take it off" and retails for $68.00. This look is completed with the Worn & Torn Bootlegger Jeans in the Iron Work Wash (and retails for $110.00).

Let's get this out of the way... the model looks fantastic with the barefoot-carefree-denim-look. But I don't know about a denim shirt being paired with denim jeans. Is this look (in the image above) one that can transition to real-life well?

The email also reminds us that they are having their Fall Denim Tour with Lucky Magazine. (For more on this, refer to the "Madewell Email: Denim Tour w/ Lucky hits stores" post.)

What are your thoughts on the Chambray Shirt? Do you think the "denim shirt with denim jeans" style plays for everyday wear?

  1. Have seen a lot of 'double denim' looks lately. I think it's back:)
