Last Day For 20% Off Final Sale {sniffle}

Today is the last day for the additional 20% off sale items (click here) with no minimum & free shipping on orders of $150+ using promo code EXTRA20 online.

Moreover, today is most likely the last day for the additional 20% off promotion that is running at B&M (brick & mortar) stores (refer to "20% Off Final Sale Items Still Going On In Stores" post).

From the comments, this was the promotion many of us were {finally} waiting for. Many JCAs took advantage of this offer and stocked up on summer items (after all, 20% off and free shipping is a very tempting combination). :) However, some JCAs mentioned holding out for the Fall merchandise (especially after all those sneak peeks of the latest August catalog!) ;)

Are you planning to take advantage of this offer today? If so, which items do you plan to get (if you can get them)? ;)

  1. Wasn't the least bit tempting for me. I am not willing to part with money on final sale items still priced WAY TOO HIGH! JCrew is crazy with their final sale IMO. $100+ for a jacket or sweater I cannot return. I don't think so.

  2. I bought the Falling-Petals Jacket (I haven't seen it IRL) I hope I like it! I loved the color & for some reason I really wanted it. Glad I was able to get it for the sale price. Not sure it was final sale though. Hmm :/

  3. I just wish it was FREE SHIPPING ALL THE TIME for at least the card members as I am with Banana Republic. I placed couple orders on Monday, so I'm done with the final sale unless there are some good pop backs.
By the way, yesterday I received my "Space-dyed Cotton Cardigan" in size small. The cotton is so, so soft... however, it's a bit long for me. If you'd like to get it email me at: notaryjulee@gmail.com
If there aren't any takers I'll be returning it today. I'm asking for $103 ($79.99 + 9.75% sales tax + shipping + shipping it to you + paypal fees).

  5. I am waiting for one popback item that sold out early and hasn't been discussed on this blog so I think it's one of those "hidden gems". I have one already that I wear a lot so want another one and will wait patiently, sale or no sale. Maybe today will be my lucky day. Otherwise, nada.

  6. I am waiting patiently for the aurora t straps to pop back. Otherwise...i am holding out for the august.rollouts.

  7. I was hoping for further markdowns today. Since there weren't any on my items, I will continue to wait. I am looking forward to seeing the new items IRL next week. :)

  9. Patina, I picked up the Aurora t-straps last week! Before the 20% off and free shipping of course. They popped back in only one size. Based on Goldenmeans' review, I sized down so I hope they fit. My guess is the restocks will be crappy while this code is in effect and there will be a big one tomorrow, so watch for the Auroras!

  10. I usually don't find much in final sale online, but I did use this promotion yesterday for some basics for myself and my husband. And actually, only one of my nine items showed up as "final sale" on my confirmation email. I also got a blazer from last year for a good price, so hopefully that fits!

  11. I did take advantage of this promo yesterday to get some items that I had tried on before, so I know they will fit.

One of the things I picked up was the birch cloth suit - I am glad I returned it when it was FP ... I snagged both the jacket and the skirt yesterday for $88 total :) I also picked up a polo and some shorts for my DH. I hope it all ships.

So now I am holding off for fall, unless there are some good popbacks. The website hasn't updated yet, so I am not sure if it will.

Though the falling petals jacket is sheer , I kinda like it. I was gonna review it on my blog tonight :0)

  14. lilac cupcake - where did you find thie birch cloth suit? I wanted that one but couldn't justify paying f.p. did your store have any more?

let me know! jeclark (at) mac dot com

  15. GCC, I also got the falling petals jacket and love it. The the sale price -20% it's not bad. It is sheer and you have to be careful where you wear it because of the fabric. I think you can really dress it up or down though. Hope you like it too!

Was there an update today?? I wanted to wait to place an order until it updated. Wouldn't surprise me if they didn't update with this the last day of the sale.

  16. Woe that I ever bought my first cashmere. Now I keep checking back from more to scoop up on sale...

  17. Does anyone have thoughts on the silver lamé trellis jacket?

  18. I was planning on taking advantage of the sale on the last day, depending on what popped up. I almost scored the painted floral tee, but it disappeared from my cart. So I decided to hold off and scour ebay instead.

  19. Any thoughts on the Saturday Pant vs the Everyday Chino?

  20. PFP, had to scoop up the 4 pocket cashmere cardi- one for me and one for my mom. I feel your cashmere woe, as does my out the window clothes budget for the rest of the summer (I got the cashmere peplum jacket, too.)

On the plus side, I just did like half of my Christmas shopping on the cheap. Men's wool crewnecks for bros and pop, wool argyle for DH, and aforementioned cashmere cardi for the ma. Also, with the free ship at Anthro, I scored a few of the 9.99 silk robes for myself, BF, and MIL. Not too shabby!

  21. Derert Flower....thanks for the information. I will check early tomorrow and through out the week and let you know. Congratulations on getting a pair. I am so jealous...that is until I get mine. Have a great day

  22. Yay, I got my item on a popback with today's update. Hope it ships. I also ordered the double-serge cotton skirt, a pair of cropped chinos for only $15.99 and the new corduroy pencil skirt. I needed to add at least one fall item in the order. The sale update looked pretty good today but nothing else I want from the summer selection. Looking forward to fall...

  23. Mismasala,
What do you wear under the jacket since it is so sheer?
    THanks:)

  25. Hayes- I have both pants and they're both great. The Saturday pants are more light weight than the Everyday Chinos. But the main difference is that the Chinos have a higher rise than the Saturdays and this can be a bit uncomfortable for some people. I recommend the City-Fit Surplus Chinos if you like a lower rise because those are some seriously comfy chinos! HTH!

  26. Patina - I snagged the Aurora T-straps this morning. It must have been before the update. I found them by punching the item # into the search. Good luck!

  27. All - piperlime.com is offering an dadditional 20% off sales shoes and handbags, promo code: JUST4U. Valid through 7/23.

  28. Aurora T straps are there - can anyone comment on size and sytle? are they worth it??? I have papaya in my shop bag - but wonder about gold - not usually a gold fan and wonder if they are more neutral than metallic -does that make sense?

  29. I landed a new job so rewarded myself by purchasing the Summer linen button-tab jacket and the Birch-cloth cotton belted jacket, both in navy. Will probably keep only one. Anyone have either and want to comment?

  30. Excellent!

Thank you Missmasala (Can't wait to see it on your blog!)

Thank you SC Crew! I can't wait to get it!

  31. Ashley, Thanks for the info! I purchased before your recommendation of the surplus, they did have my size in white for 19.99. Oh well, I actually do like the higher rises so I will probably like the everyday chinos. I got one of each of the everyday and the Saturday so we'll see when I get them. Maybe I'll luck out and they will still have the surplus ones if I don't like the ones I ordered.

  32. V. jealous, Isabella :) I was so bummed not to see any fall merch at the B&M store I was in last week. I'd have loved to see some fall jackets, tweed skirts, corduroy anything. *sigh* Must wait till September...

  33. well, the CS lady said that the gold was REALLY shiny and gold so I went with sweet papaya in the AUrora's - anyone have these? I hope they are good and fit well as they are final sale!

  34. Just got back from the Seaport b&m (NY), sale section is very picked over, but they did have the double serge big bow skirts in the pink and orange colors, on sale now for $39.99 + extra 20% off.

Also, stopped in Ann Taylor, they have the JC chiffon pleated cardi (from Fall 2008)! $120, in black and heather grey, style # 233675. The buttons on this are a rhinestones! I have the putty color, I would definitely consider getting another one, but at a reduced cost.

  35. I snagged a pair of Glenbrae suede flat boots in graphite from last year for around $100, a good investment for next fall (they were one of those hidden items that don't show up in the sale section, I had to type "boots" in the search box). And a pair of cropped matchstick jeans in vintage fade. I got free shipping and none were final sale.

  36. Carrie-
I purchased the Aurora's in the last 20% sale and Really LOVE them. They are super cute, love the heel and the color is super! I wear a 10.5 and ordered an 11 and they are a perfect fit.
I snagged a few items today- most exciting was my much wanted Danielle sandals!

  37. I did get two pairs of cords for 15.99 each, and the Delphine skirt that popped back up in my size. I hope it ships!

  38. Thanks to those of you that gave the review of the silk treasure tunic- I just received it and really like it! Perfect piece for a transition into Fall.

  40. Not sure where to post this, but if anyone is looking for the Havona Tank in a size 10, the J.Crew in Burlington, VT had one in stock. (Happened to pass by this location on my way down from Montreal.)

It was listed as $89.99 (which may not be the current, lowest price) and they still have the 20% off sale going on.

Just wanted to put it out there. The # is 802 864 5590.

  41. Desert Flower...thank you so much. The Aurora T strap heels popped back into inventory this morning in my size and I grabbed them. Thanks so much
