Happy Fourth of July! {celebrating with J.Crew?}

Happy Fourth of July Weekend Everyone! Okay, once again I am super early with this, but I still wish everyone a great Fourth of July and safe travels. :)

Since a lot of us will be attending various outdoor parties, firework events, and traveling to visit family and friends throughout the weekend- I thought it would be fun to get ideas of what to wear during the weekend. Especially since I have no clue what I will be wearing this weekend. ;) I am hoping that after reading your {fabulous} outfits, I will get inspired on finding something to wear. (It's amazing how many times a JCA mentions an item or an outfit, which inspires me to wear something similar- you all have such wonderful taste!) :)

What are you planning to wear this Fourth of July weekend? Are you planning to go "head to toe" J.Crew or parts J.Crew?

  1. Head to toe JCrack, once again. I will be at the beach all day (literally). My bathing suit is the twist front strapless swing top (purple) and the cuff band boy short bottoms (orange). my cover up is from last summer- a vibrant yellow printed little number, I can't remember the name! We are staying at the beach to picnic through the fire works and I've brought a strapless embossed beach dress to shimmy into in the car. It's espresso and looks great with my color block necklace. I will probably be barefoot all day and night which is my preference anyway! Happy 4th everyone!

  3. A navy short sleeve rugby polo shirt paired with my lace eyelet mini, to dress it down a bit. Hoping to pair with my Alessandra flats from ebay if arrive soon so I too can be "head-to-toe in jcrack." ;) Don't have any plans yet, other than making brunch and watching Wimbledon all weekend. :)

  4. No jcrack for the 4th, ralph lauren red ruffle tank, and either white jeans or white denim skirt. Happy 4th!

  6. I think the whole family will be outfitted in J. Crew this weekend! We'll coordinate in navy and khaki at a friend's annual 4th of July BBQ!

Have a happy and safe 4th!

  7. Jcrack all the way. I will be doing the usual ...cookout movie and fireworks in my eliza skirt and origami flower tank. I haven't decided which gaudy jcrew baubles I'll be wearing yet or the shoes. Have a great holiday everyone!!!!

  8. I'm not a red girl, esp in the summer, and I think we've all discussed JC's inability to produce a true red for us. :) So I will be in my navy dressy jersey strapless dress with fireball necklace. (like fireworks, get it?) Shoes will be my Havaianas thong sandal since we will be walking around a lot at the parades. And then a nice big sun hat. I love small town 4th of July!

  9. White tissue rolling ruffles tank, with the 3" navy chino shorts and red flip flops. "JCrack" all the way for me! Happy 4th everyone.

  11. Head to toe JCrack as well! Will probably keep it simple for our BBQ and fireworks show: scoopneck Perfect Fit tee in Navy, Jackie cardi in Navy, my new Chino 5" shorts in Bistro Orange, metallic gold Capri flip-flops, and a dangling gold-bead JC necklace. Happy 4th, everyone!

  13. We'll have a small barbeque and watch the fireworks over the bay from our deck. I'll probably be in a Lilly Pulitizer citrus-print tank and JC bermudas in cantaloupe or last year's capri pink, plus metallic guava Dauphine sandals and a hat. And a ton of Jane Iredale Powder-Me sunscreen--love that!

  14. I'll be rocking one of JCrew's hammered-silk tops from last fall -- don't recall the name, but it's bright cerise. Will pair it with cuffed jeans or white pants, depending on how risky I'm feeling! Might wear the Cate slingbacks in stone with the denim, they kind of qualify as "white." :)

Also have a navy and white dotted bikini from JCrew a couple years back, will wear that if it's warm enough.

    Have a happy 4th everyone!

  15. OT question to Canadian JCAs: I'm shipping a package to Banff from the US and was wondering if you can advise me on the best carrier to use. UPS, DHL? I'm reluctant to use the postal service as tracking is not as reliable with it. Many thanks!

  16. Cheryl: I hate to say, but the Post Office is actually the best and cheapest way to send stuff internationally. My sister was doing Peace Corps stuff in a middle of nowhere village in West Africa, and good ole USPS is the way to go.

  17. I'm seeing Kenny chesney Friday and will and will wear the Jakarta mini and red favorite fit tank. Saturday fireworks will be low key and weather dependant, but I'm sure it will j.crew related! Have a great 4th everyone!

  18. Seeing that J Crew is taking up the majority of the real estate in my closet this year, I no doubt will be celebrating with them.

The Premium Officer Chinos in green that I scored on sale yesterday will probably get some use, along with a chambray shirt or Jaspe tee.

Happy Independence. Don't take your freedom for granted.

  19. slub cotton shirred ruffled tank in ivory, new matchsticks if it's chilly (we'll be celebrating with old friends in Long Island!), featherwight bermudas in tan if it's hot, dark persimmon featherweight cotton sweater, color block necklace, ivory t strap sandals. Can't wait!
Everyone enjoy your weekend and your independence as well!

  20. I won't be doing much on the 4th, maybe hang out at my parents and grill out. So, probably khaki JC bermudas and a white ATL tank.

BR is having an extra 30% off sale prices in their stores today. Not sure how long it will last.

  26. Thanks for the info. on the code. A coupon code is nice but don't you think with the economy and new unemployment rate and all the other great 4th of July promos JCrew could do a bit better than free shipping on $175? Almost laughable.

  28. I never thought about the fact that JC cannot do a really good red, but it's true! Probably because Jenna doesn't look good in it ...

White Matchsticks, Blue Jasmine Zoey, MacKenzie heels.

  29. I have a Birthday Party of a good friend to attend at a Ranch, so I'm mixing & matching. Light Wash J. Crew denims, tie-dye cami with knit bodice (purchased at the airport...I know!), Sundance cowboy boots, and the soiree satin blazer for an evening kick. Still waiting for summer to arrive in the mountains.... :-)

Pam, enjoy the Kenny Chesney concert for me.

    Happy 4th Y'all!

  31. A sundress with J.Crew flip flops. I'll also be painting my nails red, white, and blue.

I'll be scouting out the Rose Gardens for the afternoon and then heading over to a music festival where I will also catch the fireworks.

  32. Navy/wht striped tee I picked up today from Banana Republic + navy BR or ON shorts. I rarely cook in J Crew clothing. *lol*
