Histories de Parfums is amazing! I bought a sample of 6 of the scents for $5 from their website about two years ago (and I'm still trying to make those little bottles last). They're amazing. Each scent is based on an historical figure or time period. I think there's around 15 scents total. It'd be interesting if they did a scent with J Crew in mind, like a twenties Eaton Prep sort of thing.ashleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03245488322210190618noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1317882250647868056.post-85836688376348159472010-06-09T23:39:24.725-04:002010-06-09T23:39:24.725-04:00There was no place to make a comment about the bri...There was no place to make a comment about the bridal selection...My question/comment is, does anyone else find the models for the bridal gowns to be inadequate? I'm a bride-to-be (next year!) and am in the market for a wedding dress, but the models for the spring 2010 and also the fall 2010 gowns are remarkably unappealing. They look like they are slouching and too short for the dresses. I think they need the models to at least stand up straight and look a little more happy because otherwise it's not doing the garment justice. The American Observerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07670206738114517664noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1317882250647868056.post-65136883037534864822010-06-08T17:00:48.492-04:002010-06-08T17:00:48.492-04:00passed the bridal store today, stared at windows w...passed the bridal store today, stared at windows while waiting for bus. Store itself is beautiful, clothes have a touch of Las Vegas, South Beach, Neverneverland... remember feather boas? there is a feather VEST on top of a long chiffon skirt. Yes, VEST. My question is, on the one day of your life when you should look beautiful, not kooky, why oh why would you want an outfit that will make your children and grandchildren fall on the floor laughing when they see your wedding pictures? Then again, most people are embarrassed by wedding pictures a few years on, so I guess JCrew is just anticipating the inevitable. Perfume and undies are just part of the package.wellfedfredhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07118802089389931227noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1317882250647868056.post-66192437581659314022010-06-08T14:41:01.254-04:002010-06-08T14:41:01.254-04:00I hate how they do that. Today, it's gone without a trace. J. Crew says they sold out of everything. Can this be? Or are they saving it for later?Bananahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17503535920537854597noreply@blogger.com
