I'm curious to see how the cherry dress does, hopefully it gets good reviews or else all of those flamenco skirts might be in trouble. janhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16257918991247030517noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1317882250647868056.post-77614453207685023532016-09-15T11:08:44.990-04:002016-09-15T11:08:44.990-04:00Thank you! Now I can't unsee the flamenco potential in that dress. Maybe I should have tried it on J. Crew-style and layered it over the Liberace blouse! Should have sashayed around the dressing room like an ostrich! :-p
TM93https://www.blogger.com/profile/18166897306461544844noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1317882250647868056.post-65855533341146054562016-09-15T09:11:44.051-04:002016-09-15T09:11:44.051-04:00It would also be great if they offered a tall vers...It would also be great if they offered a tall version of the Jackie. sthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13680983942596949851noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1317882250647868056.post-70369705659760054962016-09-14T22:09:39.136-04:002016-09-14T22:09:39.136-04:00Jan the sweater (in green) is great, nice pop of c...Jan the sweater (in green) is great, nice pop of colour. They’re trying to go back to their roots, but as we’ve said here many times, quality was a part of those roots and they just can’t/won't increase the quality. It’s unfortunate. At this point, I'd take them simply changing the name of a (classic) item they've made drastic changes to (cough, Jackie) so customers could adjust their expectations. silver_lininghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11145331294538875917noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1317882250647868056.post-90571712516447126892016-09-14T21:10:24.660-04:002016-09-14T21:10:24.660-04:00Agree that the cherry print is pretty but I don...Agree that the cherry print is pretty but I don't think I'll be buying any of the items. The cherry wrap dress is nice, the bottom reminded me of the ruffle/flamenco style skirts from the ss fashion show which kind of surprises me that they'd put a similar look out before next spring.
I didn't wishlist any items from the new rollout so far which is surprising for me. I do really like the tweed pointy toe flats but am wondering about comfort.
@TM93, you made me laugh re: the liberace comment, i have to agree with you about that colorway. :)janhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16257918991247030517noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1317882250647868056.post-79557740810442065192016-09-14T20:59:51.985-04:002016-09-14T20:59:51.985-04:00@jcrew guy, love that shade of green! I need to let my credit card cool off and stop smoking. That said I doubt it will be too long until I score the slim crew-neck lambswool sweater in heather fern. Great shade of green which will look good with both denim and grey wool pants.

And I did a preorder for a sweater that was shown at the fall/winter 2016 show. The sweater is also a wool one with a shawl collar and is said to have been inspired by vintage horse blankets. Gotta love a sweater with a story.jcrew guy in Canadahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13087438754180803097noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1317882250647868056.post-40159001181428273822016-09-14T19:49:30.130-04:002016-09-14T19:49:30.130-04:00This comment has been removed by the author.jcrew guy in Canadahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13087438754180803097noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1317882250647868056.post-52781428125729789512016-09-14T15:13:49.982-04:002016-09-14T15:13:49.982-04:00No must-haves for me either, although I really lik...No must-haves for me either, although I really liked the Cherry print dress (item F5751). Sadly, it's $198 + tax, but worse, it doesn't come in Petite so it would require some tailoring for me. (Also, as beautiful as it is, it's a piece that i don't have a lot of use for right now.)

The flutter sleeve in the black/white is pretty, but I don't like the sleeves.

An item I liked online, the polka-dot Tuxedo ruffle blouse, seemed pretty in person, but the ruffles made me think of Liberace. (at least in that color -- navy & cab. might be less dramatic.)

The Double-breasted Topcoat was the first thing that greeted me when I walked in the door -- beautiful, but way too long for this shortie at 4'11".

Lots of Campbell and Rhodes blazers. Not crazy about the light stripe of periwinkle in that one, otherwise classic, tweed pattern (there's a pencil skirt with same fabric online.)
