Specifically the Sloan mule and Thea espadrille platform shoe. What would you pair the white Sloan with other than more white? I've never owned a white shoe and don't often wear white. I've been wearing a lot of black/charcoal pants lately and I'm not sure if I'll like the look of that with white shoes. Maybe.

On the Thea, can anyone comment on whether shoes like this are comfortable for walking around a lot? I'm not sure about the thicker platform sole in terms of stiffness. What would you pair the gunmetal and gold colors with? I'm not usually a gunmetal person but their promo photos really sell it. Same with the gold. I don't think I'd like gold paired with black/charcoal pants/jeans but I like the look they have in their promo photo with the neutral-y colors.

Anyone buy the JC funnelneck long sleeve top?anonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04316327189275372427noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1317882250647868056.post-20847524290855564922018-03-18T20:13:43.431-04:002018-03-18T20:13:43.431-04:00Black is also my go to navy pairing. Also like the cotton sleeveless popovers but agree they are simple and basic and also in limited colors. There always seems to be a shortage of good short sleeve and sleeveless options. I think they're great for wearing on top of a bathing suit when doing something active and constantly in/out of water. I got a JC long sleeve one though and I still tanned through it. It was striped and I looked like a piece of meat with grill marks when I took it off (my friends had a good a laugh). It was SPF 50! I still put on sunblock before I put it on though. For example, there are no cute short-sleeve or sleeveless tops (maybe a couple but those are really boring). There was supposed to be a major rollout the last rollout, but it was tiny. I don't even remember when the last big rollout was. My kids and nephews wear the rash guards without complaining but they are constantly in the water. I throw mine on when I am going to be in the water with them and I feel like I’ve gotten too much sun. I have one of the long sleeve one piece suits and it is definitely warm. I got it for a steal but it is warm and I get sweaty especially in the chest area because of the double layer. Maybe they'd be more comfortable if you were in the water and cooled down but when I've had them on for sun avoidance while sitting out at the beach/pool, I just stick myself in the shade or under an umbrella.Anne - The Fab Lifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10235117913749019487noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1317882250647868056.post-3436628714174963532018-03-15T09:51:45.630-04:002018-03-15T09:51:45.630-04:00So many options! Year- round I'll do navy with lighter or brighter blues (eg , an ice blue sweater, a turquoise blazer). I also like navy with a bright white button-down and just a pop of fuchsia, eg a scarf.
